A Deal With Ramos
Chapter 43 A Deal With Ramos
Ramos’s eyes flashed with anger. “You’re just a pathetic little man who’s trying to talk big to save face,” he said, his voice filled with contempt.
“You know you’re powerless in this situation, and you’re trying to salvage some dignity by being defiant. But it’s not working. You’re just making yourself look like an even bigger fool.”
Carlos’s face flushed with anger, but he didn’t respond. He knew Ramos was right – he was powerless here. But he wasn’t going to give Ramos the satisfaction of seeing him break down.
Ramos leaned forward, his face close to Carlos’s. “I want to make one thing perfectly clear,” he said, his voice deadly serious.
“If you don’t give me the information I want, I will hurt you in ways you can’t even imagine. And I won’t just hurt you – I’ll hurt everyone you care about, too. I’ll make you watch while I destroy everything you hold dear.”
The threat hung in the air like a dark cloud, and Carlos felt a chill run down his spine. He knew Ramos wasn’t bluffing – he was capable of carrying out his threat.
Carlos swallowed hard, trying to quell the fear that was threatening to overwhelm him. He knew he had to say something, anything, to get out of this situation.
“I can’t give you what you want,” he said, his voice trembling slightly. “I don’t have the information you’re looking for.”
Ramos studied him for a moment, then leaned back in his chair. “You’re lying,” he said, his voice calm and deadly.
“I know you’re hiding something from me. And I will find out what it is, even if I have to tear you piece by piece. You’ll tell me what I want to know Carlos.”
“I don’t have what you seek Ramos, so do what you want to do and let’s be done with this.” Carlos said.
“Now listen to me you deep shit! You’ll tell me what I want or I swear to god I’m gonna break every part of your bone until you give me what I want.” Ramos threatened
Carlos was trembling now, his heart racing as he tried to think of a way out of this situation. “Please,” he said, his voice breaking. “I’m telling the truth. I don’t have the information you want. I’m sorry.”
Ramos looked at him for a long moment, then stood up and walked over to the door. He opened it and spoke to someone outside. “Take him to the basement,” he said. “Make sure he’s comfortable.”
As the door closed behind him, Carlos felt a wave of terror wash over him.
Carlos was led down a long hallway, his hands cuffed behind his back. He could hear the sound of his own heartbeat echoing in his ears. The guards stopped in front of a heavy metal door and unlocked it with a key.
They pushed him inside, and he stumbled and fell to the floor. The door slammed shut behind him, and he heard the sound of a lock clicking into place.
The room was dark, and he couldn’t see anything. The floor beneath him was cold and hard, and he could feel dampness seeping into his clothes.
The air was thick and heavy, and it smelled of mildew and mold. Carlos could feel his lungs constricting, and he began to panic.
He couldn’t breathe. He was trapped in a dark, wet, airless cell, and he felt like he was suffocating.
Just when he thought he was going to lose consciousness, the lights flickered on, and he found himself in a small, windowless room with concrete walls and a bare lightbulb hanging from the ceiling.
He was lying on the floor, and there was no furniture in the room. He could hear the faint sounds of dripping water.
Slowly, his panic subsided and was replaced by a creeping sense of dread. He was trapped in this room, with no idea of how long he would be here or what would happen to him.
He was afraid to even think about what could be in store for him. The cold, damp air seemed to seep into his bones, and he shivered uncontrollably.
Ramos entered the room and laughed.
“This is where you are going to be until you tell me where my drugs are. If you choose to continue to undermine me, I will not hesitate to kill your family.
I heard your daughter is quite the beauty, I might make her my concubine even though she is young.” He threatened.
“If you touch my family, I’ll kill you!” Carlos yelled.
“Oh… I’m so scared….” Ramos teased. “You know threats don’t work on me. I give the threats you piece of shit!” He said as he punched the Carlos on his face.
Carlos saw stars as Ramos’s fist connected with his face. Blood started to drip from his nose, and he could feel the pain of the blow radiating through his head.
He tasted the metallic tang of blood in his mouth, and he wanted to cry out in pain. But he didn’t want to give Ramos the satisfaction of seeing him break down.
He forced himself to stay silent, even as the pain threatened to overwhelm him.
“You see, I have no use for you anymore,” Ramos said, pacing around the room. “You’ve served your purpose. And now, you’re just a liability.
“If you tell me what I want to know, I might let you go,” Ramos continued, his voice deceptively reasonable.
“But if you don’t, well, I’m not sure you’ll like what I have planned for you. I can make you suffer in ways you can’t even imagine. You have no idea what I’m capable of.”
Carlos wanted to believe that Ramos was bluffing, but he knew better. He had seen the man’s capacity for cruelty firsthand.
He had no doubt that Ramos would do exactly what he said. And he couldn’t risk his family’s safety.
“I can’t tell you what you want to know,” Carlos said, his voice shaking. “I don’t have the information. I’m sorry.”
“You’re sorry?” Ramos spat, his face red with rage. “That’s not good enough. I need answers, and I need them now. Either you give them to me, or I’ll make you wish you were dead.”
Carlos felt a wave of despair wash over him. He was stuck between a rock and a hard place, with no way out. He didn’t know what to do. He was at a complete loss.
Suddenly, a thought occurred to him. It was a long shot, but it was the only thing he could think of.
“I’ll make you a deal,” he said, his voice trembling. “I’ll answer your questions, but only if you let my family go. I’ll tell you what you want to know, but I want your word that my family will be safe.”
Ramos stopped pacing and looked at him, a calculating expression on his face. “I’m listening,” he said.
“If I answer your questions and my family is safe, I’ll do whatever you want,” Carlos said, desperation making his voice sound hoarse.
“I’ll be your servant, your slave. I’ll do anything. Just please, let my family go.”
“Anything?” Ramos asked, a sly smile playing on his lips. “Are you sure you want to make that offer?”Content (C) Nôv/elDra/ma.Org.
Carlos nodded, steeling himself for whatever Ramos might ask of him. “I’m sure,” he said. “Please, just don’t hurt my family.”
Ramos considered for a moment, then leaned in close to Carlos, his eyes narrowing.
“I’ll accept your offer,” he said. “But first, I need you to prove your loyalty to me. I need to know that you’ll do what I say, without hesitation. I need you to do something for me.”
“Anything,” Carlos said, his heart racing. “Just tell me what it is.”
“I want you to kill the Sanchez family,” Ramos said, his voice low and menacing. “If you can do that, I’ll know you’re loyal to me.
“I’ll do it! I will do as you command, but please promise that you will leave my daughter and family alone.” Carlos said.
“Well, I don’t make promises, but because of you, I would make an exemption. Just carry out my order and then I’ll spare your family.”
“Why do you want me to do that?” Carlos asked.
“You see those pathetic jerks ruined my wedding and even tried to kill me and stole my bride from me. I want to destroy them so much and make them wish they had never crossed me.” Ramos said.
“So what you are saying is that you want to destroy everything they own and then you kill them for ever crossing you.” Carlos said.
“Yes, I want you to take everything and I mean everything that they own and when they have lost everything, I will make them beg for mercy and then kill them.” Ramos.
“But, Ramos, I don’t think it would be that easy, because the Sanchez brother has been known for their fearless and daring personality. They will do everything to get what they want but they don’t kill anyone who doesn’t deserve it.” Carlos said.
“Well, they will fear me when I do everything in my power to end them…..
