The Mafia’s Third Wife: Between The Devil’s Triangle

A Sociopath

Chapter 83: A Sociopath

The Sanchez brothers are in a small cabin in the woods, with Raven safely tucked away in a back room.

They’ve set up a laptop with a live video stream and are about to go on air, when suddenly there’s a loud banging on the door. They open it to find Ramos and the finder standing there, looking menacing.

“What do you think you’re doing?” yells Alfredo, one of the brothers. “You can’t come in here!”

“We can do whatever we want,” Ramos sneers.

“You think you’re so clever, don’t you?” says the finder, a smirk on his face. “You thought you could hide from us? We tracked you down easily.”

“You’re not taking her!” says the other brother, Alfredo, as he steps in front of Raven, protecting her with his body. “You’ll have to go through me first.”

Ramos and the finder exchange a look, and then they start advancing on the brothers, their fists clenched.

The brothers are ready to fight, but they know they’re outnumbered and outmatched. What will they do?

“How did you know where to find us?” Alfonso asked.

“Well well… I had my ways. You see my Finder here is very good at tracking down people by tracking the whereabouts of their close friends.

So all he had to do is track people closest to you and then was able to track you down.” Ramos said.

“We were so careful,” says Alfredo, his voice shaking. “We didn’t tell anyone where we were going. How could you have tracked us?”

“I’ve got my ways,” says the finder, smirking. “And now, you’re going to pay for what you’ve done. You’re going to hand over Raven, or else.”

“I’ll never give her up!” Andrew says fiercely. “You’ll have to kill me first.”

“That can be arranged,” says Ramos, and he lunges forward, fists flying.

The brothers are quick to react, blocking Ramos’s punches and striking back. But they’re no match for the finder, who grabs Alfonso by the arm and yanks him away from the fight.

The finder is a hulking brute, and he easily overpowers Alfonso, pinning him against the wall.

“Let him go!” Alfredo shouts, still fighting Ramos. But the finder just laughs and holds on tighter.

“You’re going to wish you’d never crossed us,” says Ramos, his face twisted with rage. “You’re going to regret everything.”

“You Raven shouldn’t have done that. You shouldn’t have exposed me and Don Rizzo to the world. Now you have to pay for what you did.” He said.

“I don’t regret my action, Ramos. You have no conscience. You had a daughter who is about that girl’s age but you didn’t care. You killed her.” Raven said.

“And I’ll do it again and again. You see Raven, when you were in my custody, the only reason I didn’t kill then was because I liked you. I mean you excite me, but now you just annoy me and I can’t wait for what Don Rizzo is gonna do to you.” Ramos said.

“I can’t believe that you will sacrifice your own daughter to get power.” Raven said.

“Well…. I want more power and so I knew where to get it and how to get it. Don Rizzo has what I want and I have what he wants so it’s a fair trade.” Ramos said.

“But at what cost?” asks Raven, her voice shaking with anger and disbelief. “You’re willing to destroy the lives of innocent people, just to get what you want? How can you live with yourself?”

“I don’t have to justify myself to you,” says Ramos, his face stony. “You’re not in a position to judge me. You’re a prisoner, and you’re not going to get out of here unless I decide to let you go.

“Do you really think we didn’t think about it before we came here.” Alfredo said.

Ramos looked at them in a confusing expression.

“What are you talking about?” Ramos asked.

“You see, while you were so concerned about finding me and tracking me down, I was busy looking for your daughter.” Raven said.

“What are you talking about?” Ramos asked.

“What we’re saying is that we’ve already found your daughter,” says Alfredo, a slight smile playing on his lips. “And we’ve got her somewhere safe, away from you and Don Rizzo.”

Ramos’s face goes pale, and his hands clench into fists. “You wouldn’t dare,” he says, his voice shaking. “You wouldn’t hurt a hair on her head.”Nôvel/Dr(a)ma.Org - Content owner.

“We’re not going to hurt her,” says Raven, “but you’re not getting her back unless you agree to release us. You see, we’re in the position of power now.

“I don’t believe you,” says Ramos, his eyes narrowing. “You wouldn’t do something like this. You wouldn’t risk the safety of a young girl.”

“But we already have,” says Alfredo. “We found your daughter, and she’s safe with us. We’ve taken care of her, and we’ll continue to do so as long as it takes for you to agree to our terms.”

“What terms?” asks Ramos, his voice a low growl. “What do you want from me?”

“We want you to release us,” says Raven.

“You know I can’t do that. If Don Rizzo finds out that I let you go, he wouldn’t forgive me.” Ramos said.

“So you want to risk the safety of your daughter to please your boss?” Raven asked.

“You’re twisting my words,” says Ramos, his jaw clenching. “I just want to keep my daughter safe. And I can’t do that if I release you. You’re criminals, and I can’t let criminals go free.”

“We’re not criminals,” says Alfredo. “We’re just people who have been wronged by you and your boss. We’re seeking justice, not trying to commit crimes.”

“You’re calling us criminals? You are the criminal you piece of shit! You killed my father because you wanted power.

You’re ready to kiss any of those politicians feet for power. You’re despicable.” Raven said.

“You taking my daughter hostage is a crime and you know it.” Ramos said.

“And besides, killing anyone for power was something I still don’t regret because I’ll do it again an again.

Anyone who stands in my way must be crushed.”

“Including your daughter? Because you’re ready to give your own daughter to that asshole and you know what he wants to do with her and you are gonna allow that because he promised you more power?” Raven asked.

“Don Rizzo promised me power and I need it so it’s a sacrifice I’m willing to make. I don’t see anything wrong about that.” Ramos said.

“You are a truly despicable person,” says Raven, her voice filled with disgust. “You’re willing to sacrifice your own daughter, just to gain more power. You don’t care about anyone or anything, except yourself. You’re a monster.”

“I’m not a monster,” says Ramos, his face darkening. “I’m a man who is doing what he needs to do to succeed. You might not understand that, but I don’t care. I will do what I have to do, no matter the cost.”

“How can you live with yourself?” asks Raven.

“It’s easy,” says Ramos, his voice cold and dispassionate. “I don’t dwell on the consequences of my actions. I focus on the results, and I always get what I want. So I sleep well at night, knowing that I’m doing what’s best for myself and my future.”

“You’re a sociopath,” says Raven. “You’re completely devoid of any empathy or compassion. You don’t care about anyone or anything but yourself.”

“I don’t need to care about anyone or anything but myself,” says Ramos. “That’s the nature of power.

“No, that’s your own nature you asshole. You can do anything to gain more power. You don’t care about your daughter. All you care about is yourself.” Raven said.

“You say it like it’s a bad thing.” Ramos said.

“I mean every human came to this world alone so that they could do everything alone and gain anything alone. So me giving up my daughter to Don Rizzo is making a sacrifice to get what I want and I don’t see it as a bad thing.”

“Oh my gosh! Do you even hear yourself? What do you think your daughter would say? And how do you expect her to feel after hearing that her own father sacrificed her for more power. To be given to a total jerk to violate her and your cool with it? I can’t believe this!” Raven said.

“You can say whatever you want and do whatever you want. But I don’t regret my decision and I’ll not hesitate to do it again as long as I get Don Rizzo’s support, I can do whatever I want including killing everyone of you and dumping your bodies where no one can ever find it. You will just disappear without a trace.” Ramos said.

“You really are a monster, Ramos.” Raven said.
