Let’s Find A Way
Chapter 53 Let’s Find A Way
Meanwhile, Alfredo had taken Carlos’ family to safety.
“You will be safe here. Ramos and his men can never find you here.” Alfredo said.
“What about my husband? Are you going to rescue him as well?” Carlos wife asked.
“We are doing the best we can to help you and to get your husband safe to you, but we can’t guarantee his safety since he’s still with Ramos and we both know that Ramos isn’t a merciful person.” Alfredo said.
“So are you saying that Ramos can kill my husband if he doesn’t need him anymore?” she asked.
“I believe as long as he has something Ramos wants, he might not kill him yet, but I really can’t predict him, because, Ramos is ruthless and doesn’t care about any human life.” Alfredo said.
Carlos’ wife sighed, her shoulders sagging in defeat. It was clear that she was worried about her husband and his safety. She had been through so much already, and now she was faced with the possibility of losing the man she loved. It was too much to bear.
“What am I going to do?” she asked, her voice breaking. “I can’t just sit here and do nothing while my husband is in danger.”
“I know it’s hard, but I promise we are doing everything we can to help you,” Alfredo said, placing a comforting hand on her shoulder.
Carlos’ wife looked at Alfredo, her eyes pleading for him to understand. “I need to do something,” she said. “I can’t just sit here. I need to help my husband, even if it means putting myself in danger.”
“That’s not a good idea,” Alfredo said, shaking his head. “We don’t want you to get hurt. We need to be smart about this, and make sure we have a plan before we act.”
“But what if it’s too late by then?” Carlos’ wife asked.
“Carlos, did everything he could to protect you and so if you put yourself in harms way, you would only complicate things Ma’am so I think you shouldn’t be hasty in your decision.
We are doing the best we can to help your husband, but we need you to trust us and just wait.” Alfredo said.
Just then, Alfredo, sees Alfonso coming.
“Alfonso are you alright?” Alfredo asked.
“Yeah, I’m fine. That asshole driver of mine, ran away after almost getting me killed.” Alfonso said.
“What about Ramos men?” Alfredo asked.
“I killed all of them and made sure they didn’t follow us.” Alfonso said.
“Well done, Alfonso,” Alfredo said, his voice filled with approval. “We’re going to need your skills for what’s coming next.”
“Whatever you need, you can count on me,” Alfonso said, his eyes shining with determination. “I won’t let anything happen to Carlos or his wife.”
“We’re going to need to make a plan,” Alfredo said, turning to Carlos’ wife. “We can’t just rush in blindly.
“What’s your plan, Alfredo?” Alfonso asked.
“We want to help Raven get Carlos out of there, but we can’t do that hastily, but cautiously or we risk both their lives and they get killed.Exclusive © material by Nô(/v)elDrama.Org.
We both know how we did that many years ago and the end result wasn’t good.” Alfredo said.
“I know,” Alfonso said, nodding. “I understand what you’re saying. But we need to move quickly. We can’t just sit back and let Carlos and his wife suffer.”
“We won’t,” Alfredo said. “But we need to be smart about this. We can’t just rush in and hope for the best. We need to make a plan, and then we need to execute it perfectly.”
“Do you know that wasting more time planning, can get Carlos killed. You and I both know that Ramos is always one step ahead of us, since he has been in the business of hurting people and killing anyone who stands in his way.
I say we find a way to destroy him and save Raven and Carlos.” Alfonso said.
“Look, Alfonso, the moment we make a hasty decision to attack Ramos, he won’t hesitate to kill them and so before we would be able to get to them, they would already be dead. Is that what you want?” Alfredo asked.
Alfonso’s jaw clenched as he thought about what Alfredo had said. He knew he was right – they couldn’t afford to make any mistakes. But at the same time, he couldn’t just sit by and let Carlos and his wife suffer. He felt like he was caught between a rock and a hard place, and he didn’t know what to do.
