Lies Are The Hardest Part To Forgive
Chapter 66 Lies Are The Hardest Part To Forgive
Alfredo was determined to have a conversation with Raven. He knew it wouldn’t be easy, but he couldn’t let this uncertainty continue to bother him. He needed to confront her and get to the bottom of the situation. He knew he owed it to both of them to hear her side of the story.
His heart was still heavy with doubt and confusion, but he got up from his bed and set out to find her. He needed answers and he knew that the truth might hurt, but he had to face it head on.
He went over to Alfonso’s room and knocked.
“Alfonso are you in there?” he asked.
Alfonso didn’t respond and so he knocked again no response.
Where could he be? Was he not in his room?
Alfredo thought and then decided to go to the sitting room and help himself with a bottle of whiskey.
Alfredo found Alfonso sitting alone in the sitting room, drinking a glass of whiskey.
Alfredo felt his stomach churn as he approached him, his heart still heavy with doubt and confusion. He wasn’t sure how to start the conversation, but he knew he had to say something.
“Alfonso,” he began, his voice hesitant. “There’s something I need to talk to you about.”
Alfonso looked up from his glass, his eyes meeting Alfredo’s.
“Go ahead,” he said, his voice calm.
Alfredo took a deep breath, gathering his thoughts.
“What if you find out that the girl you like isn’t who you thought she was and she was someone else. What would you do? Will you be able to trust her again? Will you be able to feel the way you feel for her again?” Alfredo asked.
“Well, It ain’t easy, because you have known her as someone who is different from other ladies you’ve met, but now finding out she is someone you don’t know at all…. it’s a lot to take in, but if you love her, you’ll accept her mistakes, weaknesses because that’s what love does brother.”
“So you’re saying that if I love her, I should accept her mistakes and weaknesses?” Alfredo asked.
“Well, Yeah. Because if you don’t then what makes you different from the other guys who are out there.
Because you know she is different, but if you don’t accept her as well, you are no different from the other guys out there who ain’t ready to accept her for who she really is.” Alfonso said, sipping his bottle of whiskey.
Alfredo was silent for a moment, considering Alfonso’s words. He knew that his brother was right – if he wanted to be with Raven, he would have to accept her flaws and imperfections.
But what about the lies? Was it possible to move past that kind of deception?
“I know you’re right,” Alfredo said, his voice thick with emotion. “But what about the lies?
“The lies are the hardest part to forgive,” Alfonso said, a sad expression on his face.
“I know how much you trusted her, and how much you believed in the person she presented herself to be.
But even with the lies, there must have been something real there. Something that made you fall in love with her.”
Alfredo thought about Raven’s smile, her laugh, and the way she made him feel like he was the most important person in the world. He knew that even with the lies, he still felt a connection to her that he couldn’t deny.
“What I’m trying to say, is that even with the lies, there must have been something deeper that drew you to her.
You may not be able to trust her the same way anymore, but if you love her, it may be possible to rebuild trust.” Alfonso said, looking at Alfredo with compassion.
“That’s up to you, of course.
“But before you can make that decision, you need to have a conversation with her.
You need to hear her side of the story, and she needs to explain herself.
She needs to give you a reason to trust her again, and show that she’s willing to be open and honest with you.” Alfonso said.
“Without that, it will be hard to move forward.”
Alfredo knew his friend was right. The only way to move past this was to talk to Raven, to find out the truth.
But he was still unsure if he could ever trust her again.
“I know it’s not an easy decision, and I’m not trying to pressure you either way. I just want you to consider all of your options, and think about what’s best for you.
What will make you happy in the long run?” Alfonso asked, his voice gentle. “I know you love her, but love isn’t always enough.”
Alfredo nodded, taking a deep breath. He knew that Alfonso was right, but it was hard to let go of the love he felt for Raven. The thought of losing her was almost too much to bear.
“I know it’s hard,” Alfonso said, his eyes full of understanding. “But remember, it’s okay to put yourself first sometimes.
You have to take care of yourself, even if it means walking away from someone you love.”
Alfredo sat in silence, absorbing his friend’s words. It was a difficult truth to face, but he knew that Alfonso was right.
He had to think about his own well-being, even if it meant making a difficult choice.
So with a renewed sense of purpose, Alfredo made a decision and that was to rescue Raven and her father or should I say Uncle and then hear her side of the story.
“Let’s rescue her and her father and the I’ll have that conversation with her.” Alfredo said.
“Sure…. Let’s drink to that then.” Alfonso said, raising his bottle of whiskey for Alfredo.
CLANG!
“Tomorrow is going to be a big day for us and so let’s drink.” Alfonso said as he poured another bottle of whiskey inside his glass cup and into Alfredo’s cup.
The next day came in like a flash and it was already time to execute their plans to rescue Raven and her Uncle.
“Are the Police set for the plan today?” Alfredo asked.
“Well, just my friend I know. He has helped assemble other loyal police officers, but the rest, they have been bought by Ramos and other politicians as well so it wasn’t easy convincing them to do this because they might lose their jobs after this, but my friend wants to make sure he catches Ramos Escobar once and for all.” Alfonso said.
“And we will. I’ll make sure we catch him and then we will hand him over to the police.” Alfredo said.
Alfredo’s determination was clear as he spoke, and Alfonso could see that he was ready for whatever challenges lay ahead.
Together, they would find a way to rescue Raven and her Uncle, and they would stop Ramos Escobar from causing any more harm.
But first, they needed to come up with a plan that would give them the best chance of success.
“So, let’s discuss the plan one more time. Just to make sure we have everything in order.” Alfredo said.
“We are going to break through the gate and cause a distraction so that the rest of us would be able to sneak pass the rest and enter into Ramos mansion and then we catch him off guard and save Raven and her father.”
“What kind of distraction are we talking about here?” Alfonso asked, curious to hear Alfredo’s plan.
“Well…. something loud and big enough to get the guards attention away from the mansion.
Something that will force them to come outside and deal with the distraction while we deal with Ramos.” Alfredo said.
Alfonso thought for a moment, trying to think of something that would be the perfect distraction. “How about a car crash?” he suggested.
“You mean we should crash a car right outside the gate?” Alfredo asked.NôvelDrama.Org owns all © content.
“Yep!” Alfonso said, nodding.
“Well, that isn’t a bad idea. Let’s do it!” Alfredo said, but he paused and looked at Alfonso.
“But how are we going to do it? I mean someone has to drive the car and destroy the gate to create the distraction. We can’t just use a dummy?”
“Yeah…. I know. We can use one of the cars we have at the hideout.” Alfonso suggested.
“We will need someone to drive the car and someone else to act as the passenger.
The passenger will pretend to be unconscious so that it will look more realistic.”
“That’s an awesome idea, bro.” Alfredo said, smiling at Alfonso for his brilliant idea.
“So now… all we need is a good driver who knows how to really drive.” Alfonso said.
“Aha! I think I know just the two people for the job.
They are both excellent rivers and great actors.”
“Okay… so let’s work with them and attack, Ramos Mansion before we miss our chance.” Alfonso said.
“Yes! But we need to make sure we have all our bases covered. We need to know exactly how many guards are there, and where they are positioned. We also need to know the layout of the mansion, and any potential escape route.” Alfredo said.
