The Omega's Sweetest Revenge

39. The Bigger Wolf

39. The Bigger Wolf

CHAPTER 39: The Bigger Wolf

SHE WENT BACK to her usual self where she kept on ignoring Alpha Karius again. Days had passed

and their last conversation didn't really turn out well and Lilian thought that it's better to distance herself

from him for now since he's just bringing up the topic about their child.

Aside from that, she wouldn't deny the fact that the sexual tension between them became thicker now

that she already marked him. Her wolf is always craving for him and before her own body betrays her

again, she chooses to just ignore him. Heck, she wouldn't like to appear like she's the only one who's

thirsty for sex!

"Good morning, Luna. You haven't eaten your breakfast yet, so I brought you food," Nadia suddenly

said when Lilian was in the garden, sitting on the round table. She's just staring at the wide garden in

front of her, feeling the cold breeze of air, relaxing her mind, hoping that her greeny thoughts about

Alpha Karius suddenly disappear.

"Did I tell you to bring my breakfast here?" Lilian asked as she arched her brow while looking at Nadia.

Well, she didn't really order the helpers to give her food there so she's actually surprised that Nadia is

bringing it to her now.

"I-I'm sorry, Luna." Nadia bowed her head a bit and immediately trembled on Lilian's tone. She gulped

and was about to get the tray but Lilian sighed and stopped her.

"Nevermind. Put it back here." Lilian gestured her head a bit to make her put the tray in front of her

again, so Nadia immediately obliged. "Sit down. You can have the food. I only want the coffee." She

gets the coffee on the other side of the tray and sip on it. The taste is surprisingly good. It's not too

sweet and not too bitter for her liking. She likes the creaminess of it, too. She held the mug, feeling the This content belongs to Nô/velDra/ma.Org .

heat as she looked at Nadia.

"B-But, Luna... it's not really appropriate to sit on one table with you. Sorry, but I can't do that." Nadia

slightly shook her head, still trembling.

"You haven't eaten your breakfast yet, right? Eat it." She commanded again and used her most

authoritative tone. It was enough to intimidate her.

"Luna..."

"I don't want to repeat myself. I'm ordering you to sit down and eat the food," she said, more firm and

authoritative this time.

Nadia gulped at Lilian's tone as her head is now filled with confusion. Why would the Luna even bother

to ask her to eat the food for her? It doesn't make sense. And besides, Nadia knew how Lilian disliked

her so badly after what she did in the past.

Nadia had no choice but to sit down on the chair just in front of Lilian. She was hesitant at first but Lilian

looked at her with her arched brow so she had no choice but to follow her.

Lilian was just sporting her emotionless face as she sipped on her coffee as Nadia started eating the

food that she prepared slowly since she's really uncomfortable eating with the Luna. This is not right,

Nadia thought.

"You're the one who told Alpha Karius how I treat all the helpers in the mansion?" Lilian started to talk

as she stared at Nadia who suddenly stopped from eating. Nadia paled instantly. Of course, she

needed to tell everything that's happening inside the mansion to Alpha Karius. He asked her to report

sometimes to him and always ask for Lilian. She would report every detail to him.

But it seems like Lilian didn't like it so Nadia couldn't help but to feel scared even more. "I'm sorry,

Luna! I'm sorry!"

"Tss." Lilian just rolled her eyes. She slightly smirked looking at how Nadia looked at her with her

scared expression right now. She never knew that the strict helper that she knew before could be really

like this.

"I'm really sorry, Luna. D-Do you want me to stop reporting everything to Alpha Karius?"

"Hmm. Maybe. I just want you to do something for me instead." She slightly shrugged her shoulders a

bit as she sipped on her coffee again.

Nadia straightens her back, as if she's really ready for what Lilian is about to say. "What is it, Luna? I'll

do it if I can," she said with her most determined tone.

"I want you to stop being blind in every wrong thing that you witnessed, just like what you did to your

fake Luna before. I'm your real Luna so follow what I want, hmm?" Lilian said seriously making Nadia

paled even more but seconds later, she slowly nodded her head like a scared cat.

***

PENNY WAS THE one who accompanied Lilian to roam around the pack the next day. She hasn't seen

Alpha Karius that much in the mansion the previous day since he's also busy discussing some things

with Calyx or the other elderly wolves in the pack. Lilian didn't put too much attention on it anymore and

just didn't talk to him that much.

Now, Penny and Lilian are in the school of pups. Lilian taught the pups earlier and she could say that

she's somehow close to them now. When they're done, they go out for their snacks then moments later,

they are busy playing on the playground now since it's their break time. The noise that could be only

heard on the surroundings is the hearty giggles of the kids as they played with each other.

"I saw Alpha Karius' mark." Penny suddenly started to talk while sitting beside Lilian on one of the

benches in the school just under the tree. They chose to stay there since the weather is a bit hot for

today and they are protected from the sunlight because of the huge tree beside them.

Lilian rolled her eyes a bit. "Yeah. I gave him my mark the other day." She gave it when they were

having sex.

"That's good. Your life will be really at stake if you won't give it to him since he's still your mate," Penny

said seriously, making Lilian look at her this time with her brows furrowed.

"So, it's true, huh. He said that my body will deteriorate if I fail to give mine." She remembered what he

told him and now that Penny is bringing back the topic, she wanted to know more. She's actually

curious so she anticipates the next words of Penny.

"Yes, it's true. The venom of an Alpha's fangs is dangerous compared to other ordinary wolves. Since

you're an omega, your body might not take it unless you also give her your mark to break the venom. If

you got your mark from an ordinary wolf, then there's no doubt that you will be able to take it but it's

not..."

She didn't talk after that. Well, what Penny just said makes sense to her so she's slightly convinced

now. She doesn't really want to believe it at first but of course, Penny won't lie to her. And even though

she wanted to contradict what she's saying, she has no knowledge about markings on wolves that

much.

"You're planning something against him," Penny suddenly said again, making Lilian straighten her

back. "I can feel it... you have this urge to make him... fall."

Lilian chuckled. "You're talking too much, Penny." She chose to just divert the topic. She doesn't want

to talk that much about her revenge.

Penny just looked her in the eye. "Your heart is full of hatred and anger right now, I understand but I

hope you learned to forgive those who hurt you before..."

Lilian smirked. "Forgive? Hmm, I'll think about it." What they all did to her is not just a simple joke. They

killed her soul. It's time for them all to pay back what they did to her before.

"AHHHH! A ROGUE!"

Lilian and Penny stood up immediately upon hearing the scream of one of the pups as their eyes

widened in shock. There's really a rogue ready to attack one of the pups! Lilian is ready to help the pup

but then Penny stops her by slightly pulling her arm, making her glare at her.

Rogues are wolves that do not belong to any packs. They are not following rules and are used to doing

what the hell they want even if it involves killing every race.

"Don't fucking stop me!" Lilian shouted as she jumped in the air, shifting to her wolf form, feeling

worried about the pup.

Lilian immediately went to the rogue that's ready to attack the kid and clawed its face. She ripped her

with her canines before kicking it, making it hit the wall of the school that created a big crack on it. She

didn't stop and ran to the rogue again and bit it harshly before throwing it in the air, making it fall on the

ground. A groan escaped from the rogue until it stopped moving and seconds later, it died instantly.

Meanwhile, Penny was just in awe as Lilian's wolf expertly fought with the rogue... the rogue that

instantly died by how she clawed and ripped it. But that's not really the thing that caught her attention

the most.

Lilian's wolf seems bigger than a normal wolf. How did that even happen? Penny thought as her mouth

still hangs open while staring at Lilian who's now in its human form.
