The Rejected Luna: Daddy, Where is Mommy?

60

Keanu ran toward her like an animal using Calvin’s human legs and his hands and jumped at her., slamming her on the floor as hard as he could. Nelina could imagine a situation similar to The Twilight Saga: New Moon when Edward’s head was slammed into the floor by a vampire while saving Bella.

“How dare you?” he growled at her face and choked her. His eyes landed on the floor, which was covered by her blood, but it didn’t calm him down. He couldn’t understand what he had done, because of which this woman thought something so low about him.

He was a womanizer but not a rapist. Hell, he could never think something like that for any woman. In fact, he stopped sleeping with underage after he turned twenty-one years old.

“Alpha, she is Rose’s mommy,” Nelina said, standing away from Calvin, not risking going near him.

Keanu’s anger started slowing down upon hearing this. He wanted to break her neck and end her chapter then and there, but he couldn’t. And he knew why the fact that she was his princess’s mommy. He just couldn’t hurt the way he wanted.

He observed her fighting for breath; her hands were wrapped around his wrist, trying to move his wrist away from her neck.

“I’m.. so.. sorry, Al.. Alpha Calv.. in.” She apologized in pain. She knew what she did was not easy to forgive any father, and she was sorry for that. Keanu stopped choking her but now dug his claws into her skin, making her bleed more.

The moment he thinks of treating her with the respect that she deserves as a mother of his pup, she ends up ruining everything.

Keanu left her neck and moved back, standing on his feet, giving control to Calvin, who was equally pissed at her.

“Nelina, Rose is in the washroom. Go near her.” Calvin said, still glaring at Ethlyn, who was healing herself.

“Okay.”

After healing herself, Ethlyn, too, stood up on her feet and looked at the floor. The marble on the floor had been broken into pieces, where her head was slammed, and her blood was all over the floor. She touched her hair; it was wet because of blood, and so did her clothes.

“I know your anger for me is valid for me, but you can’t blame me either. I judged you on the basis of your previous track record.” Ethlyn spoke after a while, pissing Calvin off even more. “Don’t give me that look, okay? You did the same to me, judged me by observing the circumstances.” She spat.

“You can assume me a slut and whore, but I can’t assume you as a father who might have assaulted his own daughter? Huh?” She asked, getting equally angry.

Calvin wanted to answer her back, but he couldn’t because he knew, just like she was showing him the mirror. He called her names without knowing her well, and if she did the same, then how could she be wrong and he was right?

“I won’t say that I didn’t make any mistake because I know that I did. And I’m really sorry for that. I know you won’t believe me for what I’m going to say, but I’m glad that my daughter is blessed to have a father like you.”

And just like Ethlyn said, Calvin didn’t believe her. Moreover, he sensed two scents approaching his penthouse.Contentt bel0ngs to N0ve/lDrâ/ma.O(r)g!

“Zordan is coming here with your father.” He said. Hearing this, Ethlyn’s face paled; she quickly wanted to clean the blood on the floor because her father would surely attack Calvin for hurting her. Just like an angry father attacked her. Moon Goddess, attacking an Alpha was a crime, and Calvin was no Nathan who would just lock him in the cell; he might kill Christian then and there.

“If dad gets mad at you, then please attack him back.” She requested Calvin, who didn’t react.

She didn’t have much time to clean the blood, change her clothes, and wash her head. She was so dead.

‘What if dad will take me from here, away from my daughter, after this incident? No!! No, No, NO!!! I can’t let that happen’, She got worried thinking all this while Calvin smirked, crossing his arms around his chest. No father would let his daughter anywhere near a man hurt her.

“Ethlyn,” There came a concerned voice of Christian. All of a sudden, he started feeling restless a few minutes before when Zordan informed Reva that he and the whole pack could sense Alpha’s anger and wondered what anyone would have done to piss him off to this extent.

Christian was sure that Alpha Calvin’s anger was for Ethlyn, and knowing this, he just couldn’t sit quietly and ask Zordan to take Ethlyn, praying in his mind that whatever he was thinking come out to be wrong, but his eyes widened when he smelt blood and then looked at Ethlyn’s clothes and hair wet with her blood.

“Ethlyn…” He quickly reached near her to check on her.

“I’m fine, dad. Cinder healed me already.” She started explaining. Christian tried to reach Calvin, who was grinning, teasing him silently, but Ethlyn was quick to come in between them. “Dad, please calm down. It was my fault. I pissed him so much that he lost control of his anger.”

“Don’t try to defend…”

“I’m not, dad. I was indeed something that could have pissed anyone. If I will tell you, then even you will scold me, please, calm down!! Pleasee!!” She requested while Calvin showed him tongue like a child. Calvin walked into the kitchen to prepare breakfast and lunch for Roselet.

“Then why was the need to invite your death on your Ethlyn?” Christian scolded, checking her head, but it was already healed but looking at the floor and the blood, he understood that Alpha Calvin was in the mood to kill his daughter for sure.
