On the other side!!
“I can’t believe you, Zordan,” Reva complained the moment she saw Zordan using his laptop in their room. She placed a couple of shopping bags on the floor and reached near him, wondering whether she should close his laptop or not.
Their relationship wasn’t that old, so she didn’t close his laptop; instead, she picked his laptop in her hand and sat in his lap, glaring at her mate, who wasn’t looking at her.
“Reva.. I’m working on something important, sweetheart.” Zordan said.
“If you will work so much, then when will we spend time together?” Reva questioned. “I didn’t want to go anywhere because of last evening’s incident in the pack, but you took my parents and me for the shopping to change our mind and then left us in the middle by asking to shop on our own and handed over your card in my hand. That’s rude.” She complained, not having any idea what happened in the pack in her and her parent’s absence and why Zordan had to rush to the pack immediately because both Alpha and Beta weren’t present at the time when Ethlyn disappeared.
“I’m sorry.” Zordan apologized, caressing her cheek. “Actually, I have reason to do so. I didn’t want you all to start getting worried. That’s why I left you and your parents in the mall without explaining anything.”
“Yes, you should be sorry,” Reva said, pouting her lips. “Anyway, now tell me what had happened?” She asked next.
“Actually…..”
“Moon Goddess!! So, many things happened in just a few hours.” Reva exclaimed. “I should go and check on Ethlyn and also tell mom and dad about it.” She was about to leave his lap when Zordan made her sit in his lap again.
“Not now. Alpha is in the penthouse. And he doesn’t like someone disturbing his privacy. He is not rude, but for the past few years, he has been staying with just Rose and, before that, all alone, so you know..”
“I get it,” Reva mumbled. “Moreover, I don’t want to deal with Alpha Calvin’s anger. I used to argue with Nathan if he used to hurt my sister, but I feel like I will pee in my pant when Alpha Calvin glares. So, arguing with him is a big NO.”
“But still, I don’t like him hurting my sister,” Reva whispered softly.
“Blame his wolf for this. He has a bad temper. And the fact that he is already thirty-two years ago and hasn’t found his mate didn’t help him either.”
“His mate? His fated mate?” Reva asked to which Zordan nodded his head. “Please tell me that Ethlyn, too, marked Alpha Calvin back?”
“Nope. That didn’t happen.” Zordan replied. Hearing this, Reva furrowed her eyebrow in tension. “Stop worrying about your sister. It’s not that Calvin is going to find his fated mate tomorrow, and Calvin will end up rejecting Ethlyn.”
Reva pouted. “Come on, Reva. They both are adults. Don’t behave like Rose, dreaming of seeing them together. If they are meant to be together, then they will.” Zordan cheered her mood.
“Now, give me my laptop; I’m working on something very important,” Zordan said, on which Reva looked at his laptop and found a sketch of the woman who Calvin was searching for. She checked a couple of emails, not able to control her jealousy or say insecurity.
“This is important?” She questioned, not liking the fact that her mate was searching for a woman.
“Yes, very.” Zordan teased her, kissing her cheek.
“This is not funny,” Reva whined. “Who is this? Just don’t tell me she is your ex-girlfriend and…” Her words were cut in between when Zordan slammed his lips against her.
Zordan kept the laptop aside and kissed her passionately. They got so engrossed in their kiss that they didn’t realize that someone had arrived in their room.
“Son, I think you should start closing the door of your room.” Reva quickly pushed Zordan and turned out and found Zordan’s mother with a sly grin.
‘How could I forget that his parents were going to arrive today?’ Reva cursed in her mind, and her cheeks turned embarrassment.
“Hey, Mom!!” Zordan blushed. “We will join you all downstairs after five minutes,” he added. Joanna, Zordan’s mother, smiled and left from there.
“Kiss was not the answer to my question. Who is she?” Reva returned back to her question.
“She is the woman who Calvin thinks is behind everything that happened with Ethlyn and Calvin. He just thinks he is not sure about it.”
Reva didn’t say anything and looked at the sketch of that woman again. But this time more properly.
‘Why do I feel that I have seen her somewhere? But where?’ She thought.
“Go and freshen up now. You’re going to my parents officially for the first time.” Zordan said, sending her to the washroom.Ccontent © exclusive by Nô/vel(D)ra/ma.Org.

Calvin returned back to his penthouse after meeting Zordan’s parents and discussing the arrangement of the party for Reva to add to the pack and also to introduce her as the female Beta of the pack. He had a lot of chocolate in his hand as well that they had brought for him. Roselet would get her shares of chocolate when she would meet them personally.
He went into Roselet’s room to tease her by showing her chocolates because she refused to accompany him when he was going to visit Zordan’s parents.
“Rose, see…” He said but didn’t find her in the room. “Where did she go?” He asked himself. “Ahh! Maybe near HER.” he went into Ethlyn’s room to check on Roselet, but they were not even there.
