The Supreme Man: Took Everything in Power

Chapter 921 Unbreakable Bond

Chapter 921 Unbreakable Bond

Kendall could only stare at Kingsley in horror. Still, he dared not reveal Kingsley's true identity. He was afraid that if he said something he shouldn't, Kingsley would immediately kill him even though his father was still on the phone.

Kingsley merely curled his lips into a cold smile and raised his hand slightly. "Oh, there's no need to be so stiff. It just so happens that I do so want to catch up with the Lawson Family."

The moment Kendall was granted permission to speak freely, he hastily blurted, "Dad, his last name is Nicholson! They all call him Boss Nicholson!"

"Nicholson?!"

Jonah's voice took on a tremulous tenor upon hearing that particular family name. A terrifying thought gradually emerged in his mind, refusing to leave.

Kendall wanted to say something else, but Kingsley waved to Rayden. "Master Goff, bring me his phone."

"Yes!"

Rayden immediately stepped forward and snatched Kendall's phone away from him before handing it to Kingsley.

"Hello, is this the patriarch of the Lawson Family speaking?"

Although Kingsley's voice sounded calm, it concealed a chilling, murderous intent.

This man, Jonah Lawson, was originally the general manager responsible for construction at Minor Corporation. Jonah had also betrayed his own father, Xavier Nicholson. He first attempted to kill Mason Parker before eventually taking over Minor Corporation and establishing the current Lawson

Group. Most importantly, the 24 groups under his father's name have all become someone else's assets. The disappearance of his father's assets could be placed squarely on Jonah's shoulders!

At the time, the headquarters of Awakening Enterprises was located in Cleapolis, and it was also the main body of these 24 groups. If it weren't for a mole undermining them from within, it wouldn't have been so easy for the 24 groups that had been spread across Qustia to be taken over by others. It could be said that Jonah had used his internal authority within the group to steal and destroy everything within his sight, leading to the complete disintegration of the 24 groups. Coupled with the act of bombing of the Nicholson Family cemetery… Well, Jonah's crimes were deplorable.

When Kingsley thought of that, his gaze instantly became even colder.

"Who are you?!" Jonah heard a different person answering the phone and couldn't help but panic.

Then, he blurted frantically, "What about my son? What have you done to him?! How much money do you want? I can promise you any amount!"

"Money?" Kingsley scoffed disdainfully, "What's the matter, honorable patriarch of the Lawson Family? Don't you recognize me? And here I thought we had such a close relationship. Unbreakable bond, really."

Jonah was dumbstruck upon hearing those words before he stammered, "W-Who are you?"

"Why, patriarch of the Lawson Family, aren't you supposed to be smart? Haven't you guessed yet?" Kingsley's voice turned icy as he drawled, "I thought we had already known each other seventeen years ago."

"Y-You!." Jonah sounded as if he had seen a ghost. His voice sounded raspy, as though it was grated by sandpaper. "You're from the Nicholson Family! You're Xavier Nicholson's son!"

Kingsley curled his lips into a cruel smirk as he replied, "Oh? My good sir, why are you so surprised? Didn't you already know that I returned when you desecrated the Nicholson Family cemetery?" Contentt bel0ngs to N0ve/lDrâ/ma.O(r)g!

Jonah was visibly shocked upon hearing Kingsley's accusation. Still, he feigned ignorance as he nattered on, "What are you talking about? Destroying a cemetery? I have no idea what you're going on about!"

Although he frantically denied everything, he was deeply shocked by Kingsley's perceptiveness. He couldn't understand how Kingsley knew that he was behind the explosion at the Nicholson Family Cemetery. He had done everything very discreetly. He even went to Diosna City in person under the pretext of a business trip to trade for explosives with Mr. Field in order to cover all his bases. How could Kingsley possibly know that he was the mastermind of that attack? Unless... The other party had been deceiving him all along!

When he thought of that, he immediately took a deep breath and confidently said, "The destruction of the cemetery you're talking about has nothing to do with me. Don't you dare throw around such baseless accusations!"

Little did he know that Kingsley had already deduced his identity from Cedric's description. He wasn't probing for answers at all.

"My, oh my, Jonah Lawson. Sometimes, I truly wonder how it is that your mental resilience and shamelessness haven't been crowned as one of the seven wonders in the world." Kingsley snarled, "You've long reached the end of your rope. Yet, you're still trying to deceive me when you have nothing up your sleeves?"
