The True Lady Strikes Back novel (Cecilia and Christopher)

Chapter 95

Chapter 95

After Christopher had hung up the phone, he called Solomon, who was on standby. “Juliana is near

Lavaldiac Street in the eastern suburb, Send someone to look for her.”

Due to the short duration of the call, he couldn’t pinpoint the exact location, but he had narrowed it

down more than ten times.

“Ceci, how do you want to handle Juliana?” He asked Cecilia after ending the call.

“Haven’t you already planned everything? Just follow your plan.”

“Do you want to meet Juliana afterward?” he asked.

When Juliana was at her most desperate, seeing the one responsible would break her even more.

Cecilia wasn’t interested in wasting her time and effort trying

to do something impossible, especially a dirty one.

“It’s not interesting. I’d rather get some sleep.”

‘I don’t believe Juliana will be so easily defeated.

She’s only become more twisted and seeks even crazier revenge. Cecilia thought to herself.

Christopher nodded in agreement. “No need to see her in person. It would be unpleasant. Let the

journalists do the job.” “If Juliana wants to preserve her image, I’ll make sure everyone sees her at her

most miserable moment,” he thought.

After that, he anonymously contacted the media, claiming here would be big news and asking them to

stand by.

The journalist didn’t know if the information was true, but the promise of “big news” piqued his interest.

He thought it was worth a shot, even if it meant wasting some time.

The True Lady Strikes Back

He immediately got up from the bed and stood by.

Meanwhile, the kidnappers called Gordon again, providing the bank account for the transaction,

It was an anonymous foreign account. Once the money was transferred, it would be theirs. Even if the

funds were obtained illegally, they wouldn’t be frozen,

Gordon hurriedly asked, “Will you let Julia go if I transfer the money?”

“You’ll find out if you try.” With that, the kidnapper ended the call.

Gordon began to believe the police’s speculations. He thought the kidnappers would continue to

demand ransom, using Júliana as a cash cow. All text © NôvelD(r)a'ma.Org.

So he hesitated to send the money.

Before he could make a decision, he received a message from the kidnappers urging him to do so.

“You have five minutes. If I don’t get the money, I’ll take it out on your precious daughter.”

After reading the message, Gordon asked the police, “When can you find my daughter?”

It had only been ten minutes since the last call, and even the police in the eastern suburb had barely

arrived.

Not to mention, such a large investigation would take at least two hours to get any results.

After hearing that, Gordon cursed in a low voice.

Time was running out. Seeing that five minutes were about to pass, he hurriedly transferred 200 million

dollars into the designated account.

At the same time, Felix received a notification of the incoming funds.

He looked at Juliana as if she were a money-making machine,

“The Yancey family has been really good to you. I wonder if they’ll give another 200 million dollars.”

That money was too easy to earn, and he wanted more.

Juliana said with a stern expression, “Don’t be so greedy. You might end up losing everything.”

Felix snorted angrily and reluctantly put the phone down. “All right, for long-term benefits, I’ll settle for

200 million dollars this time.”

After all, this money would last him for quite a while.

Juliana got up and said, “Let’s continue with the act. We need to make it convincing. There is an

award-winning actor in the Yancey family. Don’t let him see through it.”

Felix’s gaze fell on Juliana’s blood-stained hospital gown, his eyes filled with malice. “If you want it to

be convincing, it has to be real.”

Juliana’s expression changed dramatically. “No!”

She couldn’t afford to lose her innocence to some low-life thug.

“It’s not up to you!” Juliana exclaimed.

Felix had set this move in motion to make it happen after he learned of Juliana’s plan.

Juliana’s plan was to be kidnapped, and after the ransom was paid, the kidnappers would harm her

and then frame Cecilia. Of course, the harm was just part of the act.

However, she hadn’t expected Felix to take it to such extremes. As she was taken to a grimy

warehouse, she struggled

desperately.

“Felix, I’m your sister. You can’t do this to me. If Mom and Dad find out, they won’t spare you!”

With that be turned on the camera and signaled some thugs Jibana watched the blinking red tight and

the approaching men. She was on the verge of colipse.

Felix did not change hus mind whether she begged or cursed. When the excruciating pain came and

the situation became inevitable, hatred surged in her heart.

She hated Cecilia Christopher, the Yancey family, Felix, and everyone else.

Soon, the hatred turned to screams that were extremely loud and piercing

When Solomon and his men arrived, he was startled by the load commotion

“Who acted before me? It sounded pretty intense,” he thought. He quietly approached the warehouse

door to peek inside. The next second, he looked away and rubbed his eyes, as if to ward of a

nightmare.

In fact, he hadn’t seen anything.

He only saw a few naked silhouettes, with one person engaged in physical activity

Solomon didn’t know what was happening or if they should continue their original plan. He immediately

informed Christopher of the situation.

Christopher showed Cecilia the message from Solomon after reading it

“Ceci, who do you think acted first?”

Cecilia shook her head. “Whoever it is, they’re helping us. Notify the police and tell the journalists to go

to the scene. With that, she handed the phone back to Christopher.

Christopher called the police captain and gave him Juliana’s exact address.

He then informed the journalists that he had contacted them earlier and instructed them to follow up on

the big news.
