Chapter 56 I Apologize To You On My Elder Sister's Behalf Content from NôvelDr(a)ma.Org.

At Litke World Studios, the filming of the Legend of Anne was well underway.

The female lead, Anne Hade, was played by Lyndsey, and the male lead, Richard Wentworth, was played by Jay Reed.

Jay was one of the most popular male celebrities in the country right now.He was well-rounded, with skill and talent in both acting and singing.

Last year he had won the Best Actor award, and this year he had won Most Popular Male Artist in the music awards.

If it weren't for the fact that all his songs were indie-folk rather than pop, he would be considered a singing sensation.

Even so, many of the crew members did believe Jay to be a singing sensation soon.

After all, it had already been confirmed that the theme song of the show would be sung by Jay.

Considering the enormous budget and hardworking publicity team that Yeez Entertainment had, the theme song would undoubtedly top the charts as soon as it was released.

It was the first day of filming, and Maria was the idlest person on the crew.

She arrived at the shooting site on time and initially followed Francis around, sincerely trying to perform her duties as a script supervisor.

However, she soon realized that Francis didn't need a script supervisor at all.He was extremely knowledgeable about both the source material as well as the tasks of the crew, and didn't need any

help.

In fact, having Maria around somehow only made him focus more on getting every single thing right.

He arranged everything so perfectly that Maria didn't have to do anything.

"Mr.Jackson, is there anything I can do?" Maria couldn't help asking after a while.

"What?"

Francis's mind went blank for a second.

The truth was, the first day of filming was always the busiest, with a lot of small errands to run.

However, Francis didn't want to bother Maria with all these trivial things. He viewed her less as a crew member and more as a dignified advisor, who he would only disturb when he was facing core filming and creation problems.

"No, I'm fine.Is there anything I should change?"

If anyone in the crew heard Francis asking someone else for instructions, their jaw would drop to the ground.

Francis lowered his voice and said carefully, "Mia...Sorry,I mean Miss Jenkins. You can regard yourself as the chief director who's inspecting the work.If there is anything you're not happy with, please let me know."

As the script supervisor for the show, Maria was speechless.

But then she recalled the scene that morning when Francis had taken out a thick stack of her books and asked for her autograph.

It was at that moment that she realized that he was one of her loyal fans.

After that, Maria didn't bother Francis anymore.

She knew that he wouldn't hesitate to ask her if he truly needed her help.

After about three hours of shooting, the members of the crew found that the beautiful script supervisor named Maria just stayed next to the director, without so much as lifting a finger to do any work.

Since the rest of the cast and crew had to actually earn their pay, they grew more and more indignant about the situation with every passing hour.

"Did you sée that script supervisor, Maria Jenkins? Whose daughter is she? She can't do anything. How was she even accepted into the crew?"

"Exactly! She's just a script supervisor, but she acts like she’s a producer or something. And Mr.Jackson just happily allows it! I won't be surprised if he suddenly asks her to change into a costume and act in a scene. That's an easy way to become famous, isn't it?"

As the cast and crew complained about Maria among themselves, one of them suddenly realized something.

"Vivian, your surname is Jenkins too, right? ls Maria related to you?"

Hearing this question, everyone turned to Vivian with sharp gazes.

Dressed in the white princess costume, Vivian looked quiet and elegant, like a pure white lily.

"I'm sorry, everyone.Maria is indeed my elder sister."

A graceful smile hung on Vivian's lips, but the light in her eyes dimmed.

In a pitiful tone, she continued, "I don't know what kind of trick she used to become the script supervisor.I'm sorry that she brings you trouble.I apologize to all of you on her behalf."
