Trapped with a Lawyer

Chapter 130 It Was Too Late

Chapter 130 It Was Too Late

Placing his palm on her thin waist, Samuel once again repeated the sentence that he had said a million

times during the past few days, "Ella, just listen to me..."

In the end, Ella opened the door herself and got out of the car. Then she headed to the building without

looking back at Samuel.

In Chuck's office.

It was about twenty minutes before their appointment when they walked into Chuck's office.

Both of them seemed quite low in terms of mood. Chuck rose from his chair and gently held Ella's

shoulder, "Come on, I'll take you to have some examinations first."

He knew the culprit who had done this to Ella was the only one to blame.

Ella had done nothing wrong, nor her baby or Samuel. But that's how cruel one's destiny could be...

Sitting alone for 30 painful seconds in Chuck's office, Samuel then rose as well and followed the two of

them ahead.

Chuck had taken Ella to every pre-surgery examination himself, and it was half an hour later when they

had finally finished.

In the surgery room.

Outside the room, Samuel leaned weakly against the wall, watching as the nurses prepared for the

surgery.

Ella, I'm so sorry...

Then a nurse with her hat and mask on, lowered her head and followed a few other nurses into the

surgery room.

She stared at Chuck as he went to the sterile room to change to overalls.

She then turned her eyes to the woman huddling up on the operating table.

Her eyes didn't deceive her after all. It was Ella.

Everyone in the room was busy preparing. Chuck soon changed and went into the operation room.

Terrified by the machines around her, Ella sprang up from the table all of a sudden.

Ignoring the surprised gazes from everyone, Ella dashed toward Chuck, clenching his sleeves and

begging, "Chuck, please. I don't want to do this. Can you help me?" Ella's tears were streaming down

her cheeks.

Hiding behind the crowd, the additional nurse pretended to organize the instruments and wondered

why Ella was acting like this.

Chuck gestured for others to leave the room for a moment.

And Chuck and Ella were left alone in the surgery room with Daisy who hid outside the door,

eavesdropping.

"Chuck. I don't want to have the abortion. Please help me." Ella was begging in pain. Chuck couldn't

help stroking her head lovingly.

Ella was like a little sister to him. And she was begging him not to take away her baby. How could he

do this to her.

"Ella..." For the first time, Chuck didn't know what he could say to comfort Ella.

Ella was still begging him over and over again. She almost knelt down to him if he could save her baby.

"Chuck, I know there must be something you can do. Please, I'm begging you. Chuck..."

Daisy was shocked by how desperate Ella seemed to be.

Then she recalled she saw Samuel outside the surgery room. What on earth was going on between

them? It seemed that Ella was pregnant but Samuel didn't want to keep it. But why?

"Chuck, Please. Help me and my baby...

The baby has done nothing wrong. It's innocent and we can't just murder it.

Please..."

Chuck looked up at the ceiling and then closed his eyes. He pulled Ella into his arms and stroked her

back gently.

"Now don't cry. I'll see what I can do."

Having Chuck's promise, Ella finally broke down in his arms.

Due to the sound insulation effect of the hospital walls, Samuel had no idea what was going on inside

the operation room.

But as time slowly went by, Samuel was getting anxious.

He was upset when he thought of what Ella might be going through. Damn it! Just let her have the baby

if that was what she wanted!

Having made up his mind, Samuel was about to knock on the door and call off the surgery when a

young nurse came out of the room and told him, "Mr. Shao, the surgery is about to be over. And the

patient will need some supplement, can you go buy some?"

It was too late.

Samuel was confused by the nurse's requirement. However, he didn't know much about things like that

and he decided to do whatever he was told.

Peeping from the door slit, Daisy sighed in relief when she saw Samuel getting into the elevator.

But what she didn't see was that Samuel thought he'd better go back upstairs and be with Ella when he

got out of the elevator in the lobby. So he called Anna and told her to come to the hospital with the

supplements.

Soon after he went back upstairs, the light of the surgery room was out.

Chuck came out of the room first. Samuel immediately approached and asked, "How's she doing?"

Chuck took off his mask and replied, "Everything has been taken care of." Then a nurse followed

Chuck out with a tray in her hands.

The bloody piece of meat stabbed Samuel's eyes and heart.

That was what coming off her body. He couldn't even begin to imagine how much pain she was in.

He was flooded by a sudden strong feeling of guilt.

The nurse soon carried the tray away. Chuck glanced at Samuel and said, "Samuel, go wait in the

single room on the eighth floor. I'll let them send her there in no time."

Then Chuck left the corridor with Samuel.

Following secretly behind them were two other women. They sneaked out of the hospital through the

passage used for removing medical waste that led to the back door.

Hand in hand, the two of them ran all the way and didn't stop until the hospital was far behind them.

"Ella, have you considered it thoroughly?" Daisy double-checked again.

Ella nodded stoutly, "Daisy, take me away where Samuel can never find me." There was no need for

her to stay around since Samuel had been so cruel to her.

"I will!" Daisy had planned to run away from Chuck anyway. And so she could totally bring Ella with her.

Ella hailed a cab and went back to the villa, quickly packed her things up and then headed to the old

house.

"Jerry, my dearest Jerry..." Holding her son in her arms, Ella was kissing Jerry in tears.

Poor Jerry. She couldn't be with him for a long time to come, and she could only pray for his health and

safety. From NôvelDrama.Org.

She wanted to take Jerry with her so badly, but... she knew it would be difficult and she just couldn't.

Daisy was knocking on the door in a hurry, then she pushed in and said, "Ella, I just heard the servants

downstairs on the phone. It was Samuel. Hurry up now."

Ella then gave Jerry to Melody reluctantly. Melody had no idea what had happened, but she knew

something was wrong otherwise Ella wouldn't be crying the way she was, "Wait, Ella. Tell me what

happened."

"Grandmother, please take care of Jerry for me. I'll contact you as soon as I can." Ella turned to Melody

and held her tight.

"Grandmother, thank you for always being so nice to me. I will never forget you and I'll find a way to

pay you back."

Melody was getting more anxious seeing Ella acting like that, "Ella, what on earth is going on here? Tell

me now. Did anyone bully you? I'll do whatever I can to help you if that's the case!"

Ella simply shook her head in tears, "Grandmother, it's too late. Too late..."

It was too late. Samuel had made his bed and was going to lie in it, figuratively speaking.

"Grandmother, wait for my calls. I promise you I'll call you."

Then Ella kissed Jerry again and left the old house with Daisy.

Anna called Samuel just in time when he was looking everywhere for Ella, "Mr. Shao, have you seen

Ella's latest post on Weibo?"

The commentary area of Ella's post exploded with comments the minute she posted. And all, Samuel,

Eason and Lola were involved.
