Chapter 181 I Don't Want to Be a Monk
Chapter 181 I Don't Want to Be a Monk
After sometime, Ella wiped away tears from her face and walked away from Samuel, "I'm doing well
now, and I plan to make a better life for myself. So I want you to go and never come to see me again."
Free from Samuel's skepticism, or anyone else's really, she could finally live a happy life.
'She said she doesn't want to be bothered, ' Samuel gasped. Once again in this moment, Samuel felt
that heart-striking pain.
"Samuel, please, just leave me alone. It would be better for us to not see each other anymore." Ella
was truly tired of the feeling of being mistrusted.
Samuel looked around and spotted a bench not far away from where they were. He took Ella by the
arm and headed towards it.
He sat on it and then let Ella sit on his laps. Then he put her head on his shoulder, "Ella, we are meant
to be together. That's something you can't deny." Feeling guilty, he fondled her long black hair. It was
extremely slick and soft, making Samuel wonder what shampoo she used.
Ella cried even more when she heard Samuel's words, and she kept punching him on the chest and
shoulders.
"No, you are insane. Samuel, I hate you. I don't want to be with you anymore." She felt lucky that she
left with Daisy and gave birth to baby Jane.
She loved baby Jane more than anything else in this world, including her own life.
Cupping Ella's cheeks, Samuel kissed her lips, "I'm sorry, Ella." From then on, Samuel vowed to never
mistrust Ella.
"I'll never forgive you!" She broke loose from his arms and stood up.
But Samuel pulled her back after she took a step away.
"Ella, you are the one who have been pursuiting me, remember? Now, let me be the one to pursuit you,
okay?"
"Don't mention it! I was such a fool back then." Samuel's expensive suit was stained with Ella's tears.
He smiled bitterly and coaxed Ella, "You were no fool. You made me the luckiest guy in the world."
"Well, that's true." With Samuel's apology, compromise and sweet words, the atmosphere between
them became lighter, but Ella still sobbed like a little girl.
From a distance, they seemed to be a passionate couple who were whispering.
"Indeed, I am the luckiest guy. Ella, will you forgive me this time?" Samuel put his head against hers.
His heart overwhelmed with love.
'Should I forgive him?' Ella was at a loss. "It depends on how you treat me going forward, I guess!" She
could only give this equivocal answer because she was afraid that Samuel might disappoint her again.
"I will be a good man for and to you." At the moment he said the words, he kissed her earlobe.
Stimulated, Ella jumped up, "Samuel, be careful, I might leave you because of that!" The woman glared
at the man in front her.
"Come here."
"No. We need to set some ground rules!" Ella wheeled around and walked away, but soon she heard
Samuel's footsteps. She quickened her steps, not wanting to walk with him.
Yet the footsteps quickened as well and both started trotting.
Samuel took two strides and hugged the woman from behind.
"Okay then, let's set rules." He would do whatever she asked.
Upon hearing that, Ella turned around and faced him, "First, don't touch me without my approval."
"But, I don't want to be a monk." He explained, pouting his lips and feigning sadness.
"Well, there's noting left to discuss."
"Wow, wait for a second. You said I'm a lechery man. If I don't act like one, then how can I be with
you?" Samuel was afraid that she would actually make it a rule, so he wanted to talk her out of it in a
glib way.
"Just give the answer. Yes or no?" She would not be fooled again.
Looking at the stubborn woman, Samuel put a long face. He thought that he should retake his
dominance.
"Ella, don't you want to see your son?" 'What a pathetic man I am!' Samuel thought of himself because
he had to trade his son for love.
Holding the woman in his arms, Samuel headed towards his car.
"Of course I do." She answered with such certainty because her love for her children was equal.
"Then forget the first rule, then I'll give you your son." It simply was an approved meeting between
mother and son.
He would sacrifice nothing since he thought that Ella would forever be his.
It was quite an offer, but Ella hesitated because it meant that she would have to meet his every
demand. Ella hesitated for a long time. Finally, she agreed to the terms, just for Jerry. Upstodatee from Novel(D)ra/m/a.O(r)g
"Second, don't come to America to see me without my approval." Maybe when Ella was in a good
mood, she would give him a taste.
"That's cool with me." Samuel was pretty sure that Ella would come back to C Country because of
Harry's lucrative offer, and Jerry, who certainly need his mother's care.
She didn't say that he shouldn't go to C Country without her approval.
Both of them were indulged in their wishful thinking. It was obvious that one of them was winning this
war.
When they approached the car, Samuel opened the door. When she entered the car, he placed the
seat-belt for her.
Ella posed her third rule after the car started, "The third rule, don't lay your hands on me in public
without my approval."
Taking a glance at her, Samuel realised that she just didn't want him to get close.
Silence fell between them, which made Ella doubt that what she asked for was too much since all of
these three rules were to keep him away.
While she was considering if she should make some changes, Samuel spoke, "We will see."
...
In an instant, the last twinge of guilt in Ella's heart fleeted away.
As they waited at a red light, looking at Ella, who kept rolling her eyes at him, Samuel kissed her,
catching her off guard.
"Sam... Sam..." Ella was so angry that she couldn't utter the latter part of his name.
"Focus on driving! Ugh, you rascal!"
Old? Rascal? Samuel raised his eyebrows, "Did you just call me old, Ella?" He was just asked by
someone last month if he was 25.
"You're over thirty. Of course you're old." 'What a shameless man, trying to pretend to be younger."
As the light turned red, Ella saw that it had began drizzling outside. Weather like this made Ella
sentimental again.
She didn't know if the things she said would work, because, except for saying sorry and sweet words,
Samuel didn't directly answer her discontentment.
However, if Samuel did want to get back together with her, he wouldn't neglect her feelings.
She decided if Samuel treated her the same way he had before, she would definitely leave him.
As they arrived at the apartment, Samuel held Ella in her arms and covered her head with his coat.
