True Fated Marriage (Grace and Heinz)

Chapter 2119

Chapter 2119

Heinz had been quiet the whole time as he glanced at the people around him subtly, sweeping over their faces one by one. His eyes were filled with mirth as he glanced at Sylvia, who seemed delighted, and Sebastian, who was a little stiff.

It seemed like something interesting had happened between those children, and their expressions were all quite intriguing.

What mattered more was Claudia, who was sitting between Sylvia and Sebastian. Her sparkling eyes were looking at Sebastian intently every now and then, and she seemed glad whenever he scowled.

It felt like the two were deadlocked in some sort of secret competition.

Yes, it was exactly like that.

Heinz also sensed something off about Sebastian that day.

"Have some of this." Sylvia picked up some food for Claudia as she inadvertently felt that her father had already sensed that something was wrong. She didn't want Heinz to see it, so she quickly gave Claudia some food to remind her about it.

"Thank you." Claudia nodded lightly.

Sylvia chuckled and immediately signaled for her to eat.

Heinz gazed at his daughter calmly.

Cold sweat dripped down Sylvia's back. She was tense under her father's scrutiny.

Sylvia took a deep breath secretly and said, "Dad, what are you looking at? Today's breakfast is really scrumptious, so hurry up and have some."

Claudia was immediately cautious of the situation, and so was Sebastian, as Sylvia said that.

Sebastian glanced at Heinz and smiled. "She's right, dad. Today's breakfast is yummy and filling."

"Then have some more," Heinz said. "Oh, don't forget to serve some food to Madam Loris, she's just right beside you."

Claudia almost choked upon hearing that.

She blushed as she coughed hard.

Sebastian grinned. "You're right, dad. I should be serving Madam Loris some food."

Meanwhile, he picked up a soft bun for Claudia.

Claudia looked at the bun as she pursed her lips. "Thanks." "You're welcome, Madam Loris." Calling Claudia that was sure to annoy her.

It was clear that Sebastian was the winner of that round.

However, Claudia wasn't too frustrated either. Instead, she found it very interesting.

She didn't want to be too overt in front of Heinz's discerning gaze.

She felt that Heinz would be able to figure out her true intentions very quickly.

He was a fearsome force in the business world for a long time then, so he would see through her flimsy excuses in seconds if she was too obvious. Therefore, she needed to keep her feelings under wraps and not let Heinz and Grace find out about it before she managed to capture Sebastian's heart.

Frankly, the meal presented her with an opportunity.

Meanwhile, Sebastian had served Claudia food several times, and he addressed her as 'Madam Loris' the entire time.

Claudia felt an uncomfortable sensation in her chest whenever he called her that.

Stinking lad.

Sebastian thought that calling her 'Madam Loris' would make her give up.

He was too naive.

Claudia fancied herself a determined person, and she loved challenges.

Therefore, she wasn't going to give up just because Sebastian called her that.

"Claudia, would you like to go anywhere after breakfast?" Grace was afraid that no one would attend to Claudia at home, and Lowell, Sebastian and Sylvia were the only ones free to accompany her. "How about Lowell, Sebastian and Sylvia go with you?"

Before Claudia could say anything, Sebastian had already cut in.

"Mom, it's better if Lowell and Sylvia go out with Madam Loris. I'm going out with my classmates today."

"Do you have something going on today?" Grace was a little shocked. Sebastian would usually stay home and read instead of going out.

For him, going out was a waste of time.

Hence, Grace didn't expect the timing to be so poor that time.

Sebastian had a prior appointment that day.

"Sure, then Lowell and Sylvia will go with Claudia."

"Sounds good," Claudia said as she smiled.

Sebastian stood up and said, "I'm full, and it's time for me to head out. Excuse me."

After giving a slight nod to Claudia, Sebastian went upstairs first.

Lowell did not say a word.

He had become rather quiet after Celeste left, looking as if he was bothered by something.

That was because he felt responsible for what happened between Gary and Celeste.

He didn't have the mood to go out at all.

He looked up at Grace to find her looking at him. She seemed to be encouraging him to head out and stop worrying.

Lowell didn't know what to say.

He could only nod slightly as he said, "I could drive them around and take them where they want to go."

"Sounds great to me." Grace smiled at Lowell too.

She knew that Lowell had rarely ever cracked a smile after he and Gary returned from their trip to look for Celeste. Going out together then would help him soothe his feelings.

He would fall ill if he kept swelling on the past and just lock himself at home.

Claudia watched Sebastian go

upstairs. She knew that he did that

on purpose to avoid her, and he surely didn't have any plans made with his classmates. Instead, Sebastian was just refusing to go out with her.

Claudia let out a sigh and reflected on her actions. Had she come on too strong and frightened him in the beginning?

That seemed to be the case. If not, why would he be so adamant on avoiding her?

However, it was very interesting.

Honestly, she found Sebastian even more interesting then.

Meanwhile, back in the room.

Sylvia couldn't help but to ask Claudia, "What did you talk to Sebastian about earlier in his room? It seems like you've scared him so badly that he even refused to go out with us."

Claudia replied, "I just told him that I like him. Look! He's already trying to avoid me since breakfast by calling me madam."

An image flashed across Sylvia's mind. She wondered what sort of shenanigans Claudia and Sebastian would be up to if they got into a relationship and started sleeping together.

Would Claudia being much older than Sebastian turn him off?

Sylvia chuckled.

She shook her head at the thought and the nauseating image she had, it didn't seem likely at all.

Claudia looked at her expression and immediately asked, "Why are you shaking your head? Did you think of something?"

"Nah, it's nothing." Sylvia shook her head in denial.

"Are you embarrassed to admit it even when you're laughing? Looking at how you're shaking your head, I'm sure you're thinking of me. Do you really think Sebastian and I won't get together?" Claudia asked.

Oh, she'd hit the nail on the head.

Sylvia pouted and said, "I was just observing how the two of you interacted with each other today. I think Sebastian really hates you." Claudia raised her eyebrows and asked, "What about my cousin? If you compare him to Sebastian, Kendrix seems to hate you even more."

Sylvia blinked in shock.

Claudia wasn't wrong.This text is © NôvelDrama/.Org.

Kendrix had never ever been nice to her.

Sylvia nodded. "Well, I guess you're

right if you put it that way. I do feel confident now then." "Of course I'm right, and yes, you should." Claudia smiled as she patted Sylvia on the shoulder. "I'll never fail to get someone I have my eyes on. You'll see."

"I really admire your confidence," Sylvia said. "Right, good luck."

"Cool. Let's go, I wouldn't want your uncle to wait for us," Claudia said.

"Hey, since you mentioned my uncle, I think since you're younger than him by a couple of years, you two actually seem to be a match. Plus, he's single. Do you want to try it out with him?"

"Hey, what kind of person do you think I am?" Claudia said indignantly. "You wished me luck just now, but now you're asking me to switch targets." "I'm doing this for your own good, no?" Sylvia asked her.

"Your uncle?" Claudia shrugged and said, "Sorry, I don't feel anything for him. I barely even noticed him at breakfast just now."

"My uncle is a really outstanding guy," Sylvia said.

"Oh I'm sure he is, but he seems rather invisible to me." Claudia's tone was serious. "There's no spark, you know?"
