True Fated Marriage (Grace and Heinz)

Chapter 2184

Chapter 2184

"Save your sweet talks; I know what I'm like." Grace looked at her husband. "The babies are due in a few months. I wonder if Celeste and Gary will finally have their happily ever after."

"I have a feeling nothing will come between them after this experience." Heinz comforted his wife. "After all, Celeste came back on her own this time. You know how strong of an ego she has. Her return only proves her love for Gary; there's no doubt about it. We don't need to worry about them at all."Belonging to NôvelDrama.Org.

"I was quite surprised about that, actually." Grace nodded. "Ernest and Leah seem to be doing well too. Sylvia's the one I'm most worried about now." Heinz shook his head at the mention of their daughter. "I actually think Sebastian is the more worrying one."

"Sebastian?" Grace was taken aback. "Why? Isn't Sebastian our best-behaved one?"

She thought her third son was their sweetest child.

It seemed that Grace didn't notice their son's behavioral shift lately. Heinz was a little annoyed at himself for bringing it up and not keeping it to himself.

He smiled and said, "Yeah, he is. Actually, it's nothing."

"No." Grace immediately sat upright and looked at Heinz, taking the conversation seriously at this point. "Something must be up for you to say that. You've noticed something, haven't you? I've been a little tired these days, especially with the New Year's and all, so I didn't take notice of his situation."

"No, I just think he's becoming more emotional with his puberty hitting." Heinz explained, "Nothing to worry about. He just seems to have a bit more of a temper than before."

"Is that so?" Grace tried recalling and realized Heinz was right. "Now that you've mentioned it, I remembered he was quite rude to Kendrix's cousin when she came over for dinner the other day. He was never like this; do you really think he's going through a rebellious stage?"

"Perhaps." Heinz didn't want his wife to worry too much. If anything, it wasn't major, to begin with, just that he noticed Sebastian seemed to have a lot more worries these days.

He regretted bringing it up so bluntly, letting his wife worry.

"Well, you should talk to him later, try and find out how he's doing. You should care more about him." At that, she shook her head at once. "I should do it myself."

"I'll do it. You just sit back and relax." Heinz said, "I have all the time now; I'll have a good talk with him."

Grace looked at him, doubtful, "Can you really talk to him patiently? I'm certain you've given Sylvia all your patience."

"How can you say that? I've given all of my patience to you." Heinz smiled, blinking.

Flushing, Grace gave his hand a light slap. "Okay, I admit you've always been very good to me."

"Of course." Heinz hugged his wife and kissed her forehead. "You are my honey bunch sugar pie."

"Heinz, you're well over forty already. Don't say any more of this cheesy stuff."

"Aw, is someone shy?" Heinz laughed.

Grace buried her face in his neck and said, "You are."

"Yeah, I'm the one; our whole family is." Heinz didn't argue with his wife, admitting it wholly.

Grace frowned. The whole family, didn't that include herself?

Heinz was getting more and more perfunctory.

However, she felt happy and sweet from the bottom of her heart, for he was really gentle to her.

After sending the trio off, Ernest took Leah to her apartment.

When he called Grace to give her an update, Grace asked him, "And Sebastian and Sylvia?"

"We bumped into Claudia at the airport. Sylvia was thrilled about it and said she wanted to go shopping with her. I was worried the girls wouldn't be safe on their own, so I had Sebastian follow them."

"Huh, what a coincidence you guys bumped into her."

"I know, right?" Ernest said, "Don't worry, Sylvia has been studying hard lately. I didn't stop her since she was suddenly in the mood to shop. Clinton's following them as well; he knows what to do."

"Alright, I know." Grace wasn't worried, seeing how well Ernest arranged everything.

At the commercial street of the city center.

Sylvia and Claudia walked hand in hand along the busy commercial street while Sebastian followed impatiently from behind.

Claudia would look over her shoulder at the boy behind her every now and then.

Sebastian's face turned even more expressionless and cold.

Claudia pulled a face at him, only for Sebastian to wear a sneer across his already expressionless face.

Stumped by his reaction, Claudia felt somewhat depressed.

Whatever, she should not lower her level to his. Smiling, she asked, "Sebastian, have you not had a good New Year's? Or did someone owe you a debt? Why the long face?"

Turning grim, Sebastian said, "I'd owe anyone but you."

"Is that so? You don't owe me anything?" Claudia wasn't ruffled, blinking her eyes. "Maybe not this life, but what about the previous?"

And Sebastian sneered once more, a glimmer of light flashing across his eyes.

"Yeah, maybe Sebastian really did

owe you something in the past." Sylvia also looked over her shoulder at her brother. Meeting his gaze, she thought it was terrifying. "I mean your past life, of course."

Sebastian looked at Sylvia before drifting his gaze to his phone. A hint of a smile flashed across his eyes, but he didn't say anything.

Sylvia thought Sebastian had been acting weird lately, wondering if anyone had stepped on his toe.

He had been like this since the New Year's.

No!

He had been like this even before the New Year's.

She still remembered how rude he was to Claudia when she came over for dinner in front of the whole family.

However, bumping into Claudia at the airport, she didn't expect Sebastian to agree to Ernest's arrangement to follow them on their shopping trip.

No matter what, it was good enough that Sebastian tagged along.

At least, she had created an opportunity for Claudia.

Just then, she heard Sebastian's voice, "Chigo, what a coincidence."

"Sebastian?" Chigo walked over with a smile.

Seeing Chigo, Sylvia froze.

She could see his burning gaze fixed on her as his lips curved into a smile.

He looked at her for a good few seconds before drifting them to Sebastian and Claudia.

Seeing Claudia, he paused his gaze on her with a quirked brow and asked Sylvia. "What a coincidence, Sylvia. I didn't expect to see you here." Chigo walked up to them as he spoke.

Sylvia nodded a greeting to Chigo and turned to glance at Sebastian, only to see him wearing a barely visible smile, a gloating one it seemed. Sylvia's heart thumped and suddenly thought Chigo's appearance was not a coincidence.

Thinking back, she realized her brother had been on his phone the entire half an hour walk from the airport to the commercial street.

Only then did it strike her why Sebastian had agreed to tag along with them.

He was setting her up by deliberately calling Chigo over.

How dare he?!

With that, Sylvia glared daggers at Sebastian.

Knowing Sylvia had figured out his scheme, he no longer hid the emotions beneath his eyes, saying with a smile, "Chigo, you don't have anything going on tonight, do you? Why don't you join us?"

"Sure, I am free anyway. I'd walk

around even if you guys didn't come out." Chigo accepted Sebastian's invitation gladly and looked over at Claudia, greeting her with a smile, "Hi, fm Chigo, this girl's childhood sweetheart."

Of course, he was naturally referring to Sylvia.

Sylvia said, frowning, "Chigo, you're much older than me; we can't really be considered 'sweethearts'. You're already graduating elementary when I was just starting kindergarten don't see how we're considered 'childhood sweethearts'."

"Is that so? Then, how will you explain all those times you said you wanted to marry me when you were little?"

"I was just a child, and I didn't know better. Of course, it's just a bunch of bull."
