Despite his extensive experience as a pediatrician, he had never seen any doctor who would dare to utilize such a risky surgical approach on children.

However, Aylin wielded the sharp blade with unwavering control and precision.

Stable, accurate, and relentless!

Despite their frail appearance, those slender and fair hands possessed a remarkable aptitude for precisely understanding limits and appropriateness.

Phil’s eyes were practically bulging out of his face. Nevertheless, he could not detect even the tiniest misalignment in the blade’s sharpness!

Keep in mind that brain surgery is unlike other types of surgery. The brain tissue is pliable and fragile, meaning that even the most skilled surgeons may experience slight deviations.

That was also why neurosurgery often results in postoperative complications.

Phil’s heart raced, and he nervously sweated as he looked on. Yet, the young woman before him executed the task flawlessly, leaving him astonished.

As time passed, Aylin remained rooted to the spot, her legs standing straight, her head slightly lowered, and her eyes fixated unwaveringly on the projected screen.

The anticipated scene that Phil had envisioned failed to unfold. Aylin displayed no signs of exhaustion; instead, she performed with even greater speed and precision!

Conor was equally amazed.

Despite being of a similar age as his daughter, the woman’s adeptness in her techniques and level of expertise was so remarkable that calling her a “master” would not be an exaggeration!

She’s just in her 20s; how was it even possible for her to do that? Mr. Obadiah exclaimed inwardly.

The hour hand on the clock had moved again. Glancing upwards, they realized that only a little less than two hours had passed since the last time they checked.

Aylin was in the process of finishing up her work. She skillfully packed, stopped the bleeding, administered medication, and closed the incision, all in one swift motion!

However, a standard craniotomy procedure could not be finished in under four hours!

Aylin successfully cut the time in half!

What made it even more frightening was that throughout the entire procedure, the young girl’s vital signs remained stable. Despite Conor’s intense scrutiny, there were no indications of abnormal fluctuations in her breathing or heart rate.

Mr. Obadiah initially thought he would be on standby to rescue the situation if anything went awry. To his surprise, Althea did not require their involvement in the slightest!

Phil was utterly amazed as he exclaimed inwardly, Is she a true Divine Doctor? Her techniques are incredibly advanced. How is it that I’ve never heard of her before?

“Step aside, step aside. The patient is being transferred.” The Director personally aided in pushing the hospital bed, accompanying the young girl back to her room.

The Director added, “You lot, department heads and deputy department heads, should know better. The medulla oblongata is the respiratory center, and the longer the compression persists, the more

severe the damage to the patient and the more dreadful the resulting complications! Go back and revisit your studies!”

While outside the operating room, numerous doctors who received the information hurriedly gathered and approached to verify. They thoroughly examined Abby, noting that her condition had become remarkably stable, much improved compared to before entering the operating room!

The scar on the top of her head was stitched up flawlessly, entirely and orderly, resembling the meticulous stitches of a machine. Is it possible for a human hand to achieve such precision?

“Everyone, move along, move along. The patient needs to rest. Let’s not disturb her,” the Director said, dismissing the crowd of spectators.

As the image on the cardiac monitor became more and more stable, Aylin closed her eyes and released a long breath, feeling a sense of relief.

The Director was thrilled beyond measure. The chance to assist the Divine

Doctor and witness their expertise in action up close was truly priceless. How fortunate they were to observe the Divine Doctor’s operations firsthand!

“Divine Doctor, are you hungry? How about I get something for you to snack on?”

Aylin had no appetite to eat anything as she was concerned about Abby.

“No need, thank you.”

Gradually, the doctors who had come to join the scene for curiosity dispersed, leaving only Conor and a few others behind.

Phil’s hand was tightly balled into a fist, his nails leaving deep imprints on his palm. Despite feeling embarrassed, he made his way over swiftly and confidently, committed to upholding his promise.

“Althea, I apologize. I shouldn’t have underestimated you just now!”

Phil lowered his head in apology, his face blushing intensely, overwhelmed by embarrassment.

“I-I’ll kneel right now to apologize to you!”

Now I’m going to be made fun of! Phil complained inwardly.

The anticipated sarcastic remarks never came. Aylin remained unfazed and calm about it. “No need for that. Instead of questioning others, investing time in refining our skills is more beneficial. That’s the utmost priority for a doctor.”

She casually looked over and cast a glance, which then stirred the hearts with ripples of emotion.

It was only then that Phil discovered how stunning Aylin’s eyes were. They are luminous and enchanting, brimming with a vibrant charm.

Aylin possessed the medical skills and humility which made Phil transform from his arrogant demeanor to being completely humble.

There was no denying it; Aylin’s skills were incredible. A team of medical experts came together and could not find a single mistake in her work! It made Phil feel like kneeling and surrendering to her.

“Miss Althea, I’m sorry for my rude behavior earlier.”

Conor was filled with awe, his face reflecting pure admiration. He had a genuine passion for medicine, and coming across someone of such exceptional talent felt like a long-awaited relief. Overwhelmed

with excitement, he could not help but exclaim, “This is the most impeccable surgery I have ever witnessed, and it has greatly benefited me. How did you manage to achieve such perfection?”

The director wore a smug look on his face and remarked, “I had already warned you all, yet you still stubbornly argued back! You didn’t believe me!”

Phil was filled with great admiration and anticipation for Aylin, who possessed stunning beauty and overwhelming expertise. He cautiously approached her and whispered, “Um, Divine Doctor, hello. I haven’t seen your true face yet. Can you let me take a look?”

“I want to engrave the image of my idol in my heart!” Phil added.

Asher’s mouth involuntarily twitched as he watched. Phil had transformed into a bit of a fanboy, completely contrasting his earlier boastful demeanor.

Aylin shook her head and firmly stated, “I’m sorry, but no.”

The Director quickly interjected, “Hey, the Divine Doctor never shows their face. Don’t disrespect her. Okay, give her some time to rest. Now, please leave.”

The crowd dispersed, but Phil could not shake off his dissatisfaction. Seizing the chance while the director had left, he quietly slipped back in.

“Wait, where’s she?”

The hospital ward was empty except for Abby.

The Divine Doctor appeared and vanished without a trace, leaving no sign behind.

Phil did not perceive Althea’s behavior as disrespectful; on the contrary, he considered it a distinctive trait of the Divine Doctor.

“She’s so cool!”

Meanwhile, inside the Delacruz Group in New York.

Lloyd was occupied with investigating the tasks Gavyn assigned and providing detailed instructions to his subordinates. Suddenly, the urgent sound of the telephone ringing broke the silence, and he hurriedly answered it.

“Hello, Mr. Delacruz. You’re looking for me?”

Gavyn’s voice sounded displeased as he instructed, “Find Aylin’s whereabouts immediately and go help her.”

“Wait, Ms. Koch’s whereabouts? Wasn’t she with you in the hospital room last night?”

The sweet and tender beauty that Gavyn had chosen to run away. Gavyn, bothered by the memory, curtly remarks, “If I instruct you to go, then go. No need for all this unnecessary babble!”

Lloyd refrained from speaking further and promptly responded, “Understood! I’ll go right now!”

“If anything happens, keep me informed round the clock.”

After hanging up the phone, Lloyd rests his hand on his forehead.

“Lloyd, is something bothering you?” a subordinate asked, noticing the distressed look on his face. “Was the coffee too bitter?”

Lloyd wiped his face and remarked, “The coffee wasn’t bitter, but life is.”

Gavyn genuinely doted on Aylin, exuding a deep concern, desiring to have her by his side every moment.

“Ah, this constant squabbling between the young couple, and it’s me, the one working for a living, who bears the consequences. Thankfully, the annual salary is a substantial seven-figure sum; otherwise, I would have found it hard to continue!” Lloyd inwardly exclaimed
