Will you marry me, My Ex-Wife (Luna and Joshua)

Chapter 2967

Chapter 2967

"Well, don't stop asking for more.1

Just as they spun around for the fifth time, Jim finally could not hold it together anymore and snapped,

"Hey, if you don't get ready soon, you'll miss the perfect timing!"

Joshua snapped back to reality. He quickly put Luna down and pressed a kiss onto her forehead.

"Alright. Time to get ready."

Luna furrowed her brows at this, but before she could say anything, she was swept away backstage by

Rachel and Bonnie.

The makeup artist and assistant had been waiting for her, having already prepared the wedding dress

beforehand.

When Luna showed up, they quickly plopped her down in a chair and went to work. A few people

helped her get changed into her dress, whereas a few others were in charge of styling her hair, and the

rest were touching up her makeup.

Luna finally had a taste of what it was like to be a celebrity with a team of stylists at her beck and call.

She let out a bitter chuckle and said, "Well, if I had known this was the treatment I'd be getting, I

would've come out a long time ago."

She had made plenty of friends in jail over the last three months. That morning, she had gone to say

goodbye to her friends, as well as some of the prison guards she had grown close with during her time

there.

At that time, her only thought was that she would never return to someplace like this, which was why

she needed to give everyone a proper farewell, as it was likely the last time they would ever see each

other.

This was also a means of saying goodbye to her old self, and that was why her release had gotten

delayed by so long.

If she had known everyone would be in such a rush, she would not have wasted so much time at all!

"Shut up," the makeup artist said, frowning, as Luna opened her mouth to say something. ’Please just

let us do our job. If you have anything to say, you can tell us after the ceremony is over.’

Luna paused, then closed her mouth.

Bonnie and Rachel grinned mischievously at this sight.

"Everyone thinks the bride is in charge on her wedding day, but the truth is, it's the makeup artist who

calls the shots!" Bonnie glanced at Luna, smiling. "She's right; you'd better stay quiet for now!"

Luna shot her a helpless look. She would tease Bonnie the same way as soon as she and Jim got

married!

"Let's not tease her anymore.” Rachel curled her lips into a smirk. "It's going to come back and bite you

in the bum."

"What?" Bonnie froze when she heard this. This content © Nôv/elDr(a)m/a.Org.

Rachel curled her lips into a sneer but did not reply. Instead, she turned around and clapped, gesturing

for another team of stylists to approach them.

"Ms. Craig, you're going to be the star of today as well, so we need to help you get changed and do

your makeup.’

Bonnie's eyes widened in shock as the team of stylists pressed her down onto a chair. "What is the

meaning of this? Am... Am I getting married too? Jim hasn't even proposed to me yet! I..."

"You'd better stay quiet for now, Ms. Craig.’ The makeup artist grinned and used Bonnie's comeback on

her.

Bonnie bit her lip and had no choice but to remain silent.

Rachel could not help smiling at this sight. She took a photo of the scene and sent it to Caleb. [They're

getting married together today.]

Caleb's reply came swiftly. [Why don't you join in? isn't Theo going to be there too?]

Rachel sneered when she saw this. [You're my actual fiance, you know that? ]

[Whatever. It's not like my grandfather has much time left. Once he dies, I won't have to continue hiding

my sexual orientation, and we don't need to get married anymore, so you and Theo...]

Rachel furrowed her brows at this. [There's no future for us.]

[Why not?] Caleb could not comprehend this at all. [Are you still mad at him for what happened with

that girl?]
