Winning Her Heart Again

Chapter 68: Flowers

Chapter 68: Flowers

I don't know how I would be able to face him that day. I just couldn't take any longer seeing his face.

"Ma'am Jaz, are you okay?" Rhian said while starting to unbox. I looked at her and smiled. I just can't forget what happened yesterday.

"I'm alright. I'll just stay right there," I told her. She nodded, but she still looked at me with concern in her eyes.

I sigh and sit on the chair, but she follows me.

"Ma'am, if you are not feeling well, you can go home. Ma'am, I can handle this," she said, but I just smiled at her.

"Have you ever felt like you are so tired of everything?" I asked her. She sat on the chair and let out a heavy breath.

"Most of the time, I lose hope of everything. But I remember when I wasn't working here, I faced so many struggles." She started, and she sounded serious. She's smiling, but I can hear sadness in her voice.

"When I was a college student, the only source of my money was my salary as a waitress in a restaurant. I wanted to stop going to school, but I couldn't. I have to graduate no matter what happens," she said, placing the papers on the table.

I have no idea that this happened to her. All I know is that she's working for her family and paying her brother's tuition.

"That's not the only challenge that I experience which I feel like the world is against me. I even questioned why it happened to me. While I was struggling to make money and help my brother, my mother got hospitalized, and she needed money for her operation" She wiped her tears and smiled."

She really struggled too much. I held her hands, and she forced herself not to cry.

"I had no choice at that time but to drop out of school and find a job that was higher in salary than my former job. I was just a fourth-year college student at the time when that happened. I had to do something because no one could ever help us but only me. My brother was only young at that time, and he still couldn't process everything that was happening to us." She said, and I handed her a tissue.

"I work my butt off just to earn that money. I feel so much pain, and I'm so tired of everything that I even thought of ending my own life." She said and tried to calm herself.

"But luckily, I didn't give up. Even though I feel tired and hopeless, I still fight until my mother recovers, and I continue studying. That's why I'm so thankful for this opportunity to work with you, Ma'am Jaz." She said and smiled at me.

Now I realise that our business is really important and that it could help so many people like Rhian.

"That's why I hired you as my assistant. You have this bravery and perseverance in working. I know I chose the right one. " I smiled at her, and I could feel how happy she was.NôvelDrama.Org holds text © rights.

"Why did you suddenly ask, ma'am?" She said, but I just shook my head.

I told her to get back to work, and she did. Minutes later, a delivery guy was walking inside. I thought someone had ordered food, but he walked towards me.

"Deliver, ma'am," he said, which made my forehead knotted. I didn't order anything. Mr. Clarkson and Ms. Bianca had already ordered our snacks.

He handed me red roses. What the?

"I'm sorry but I think you are mistaken "I told him but he shook his head.

"Ma'am, Jasmine Stewart?" He said, which made me nod.

"That's me. But I didn't order anything, I told him while he handed me a piece of paper to sign that I had received the order. At last, he gave me snacks.

"Someone ordered it for you, ma'am," he said, excused himself, and said he still needed to deliver the others' orders.

"And who would be that someone?" I asked myself when I saw a piece of note in the food.

"Don't forget to eat your lunch, Travis." My mood suddenly changed, and I placed the food on the table with the flower.

So this came from him? I couldn't believe it! Is he not going to stop?!

I called one of the employees and gave her the food, and she happily agreed. I also crumpled the paper and went to the nearest trash to throw the flowers.

He's just making me get angrier because of what he's doing. I can buy my own food and flowers. He's just wasting his time.

My phone vibrated, and I saw one message when I opened it. It was an unknown number.

"Ddj, did you receive it?" And there I knew that it was him. I didn't reply; instead, I deleted his number.

Where the hell did he get the number again? I changed my number, and I told Rhian not to give it to anyone who was not in my transaction.

He's ready for something else.

My phone vibrated again, and I knew it was him. What is his problem?! Is he trying to irritate me?!

I didn't answer his call; instead, I blocked his number. I just want a peaceful life. Why can't he give me that?

"Ma'am, someone wants to give you

this," Rhian said, coming over with a

bouquet of flowers. When I read his name. I grabbed the flower and hurriedly placed it in the trash can.

"Ma'am," Rhian said while looking at the flowers.

"Did someone get my number for you?" I asked her. She shook her head.

"I did what you said ma'am, I didn't give your number to anyone aside from those clients who asked for your number" she said and I let out a heavy breath. She looked at her phone.

"There's a bouquet of flowers that

was delivered to you again, ma'am. It is outside. Should I get it?" she asked, and I wanted to curse him so

bad, but I'm just forcing myself not to.
