Chapter 482
Chapter 482
When Lucille saw Franklin like this, she thought that he did not expect this matter, and she repeated, "I
am pregnant."
After Franklin heard that, he took off his coat and went inside. He hung his it on the hanger next to him
and asked calmly, "Whose?"
"What?" Lucille blinked her eyes and replied naturally, "Of course it's yours." Contentt bel0ngs to N0ve/lDrâ/ma.O(r)g!
The relationship between them had become good.
"Mine?"
"Yes, yours."
Franklin's face turned cold when he saw that Lucille insisted that the child belonged to him. He sat
alone on the sofa with his long legs crossed. He casually bowed his head and played with his mobile
phone without saying a word.
Lucille did not know what Franklin was thinking about. She quickly sat down and asked carefully,
"What's the matter? Were there any problems at work?"
She could tell that Franklin was not happy, but she did not know what the problem was.
"Now, I finally believe in karma." Franklin's voice light but his hand, which held onto his phone,
gradually tightened and his knuckles were slightly pale.
"What do you mean?"
"I used to be the cheater in a relationship. I did not expect that one day I would be cheated on,"
Franklin sneered.
Lucille was stunned when she heard this. "What do you mean? Do you suspect that the child is not
yours?"
Only then did she realize that Franklin was not joking when he asked, "Whose?"
She did not realize it before because she never thought that Franklin would actually doubt her loyalty!
"Wait a minute."
Franklin got up and went to the study. After a while, he came out with a piece of A4 paper in his hand.
He raised his hand and threw the paper to Lucille. "Take a good look."
Lucille picked up that piece of paper, which was a copy. On it, it was written, "Consent Form for
Vasectomy Surgery".
At the bottom of the form was Franklin's signature.
Furthermore, the date written below his signature was a week after they were married.
In other words, if the operation was successful, Lucille would not be able to get pregnant.
"But... It's really your child."
The agreement was written so clearly that Lucille was confused for a while.
She could not even explain what happened. Could it be that she was forced by someone in her sleep?
Franklin sat back on the sofa, leaned his body towards Lucille and used his slender fingers to hook the
woman's chin, "Tell me, between that man and I, who was better?"
"Hub... Mr. Moore, there really isn't another man." Lucille subconsciously called Franklin as 'hubby', but
as soon as she opened her mouth, she knew that it was not appropriate for her to call him that.
The way Franklin looked at her now was cruelerthan before.
Men hated to be cheated on by a woman.
"So, are you implying that my operation failed?" "Maybe, maybe that was the case!" Lucille nodded
desperately!
That was the only reasonable explanation.
Franklin looked at Lucille's nervous expression. She had a pair of bright eyes that stared at him
nervously, which made his originally determined mind weaken a little for a while.
After some time, he opened his mouth and laughed. "Okay, since you insisted, then, I'll let you die in
peace. We will go to the hospital for an examination tomorrow."
"Okay!"
Lucille nodded, and her expression immediately relaxed.
She believed that after the test results tomorrow is revealed, she would be proven innocent.
Lucille quickly ran to the kitchen and said, "Let's eat. I made fish soup today and it's delicious."
Franklin looked at Lucille, who seemed to be relieved, as if the next day's examination results were
bound to fail.
His mood was inevitably a bit complicated.
After all, the hospital where he had the operation was the top one in A City.
Failed operation? How could it be possible?
The next morning, Franklin did not go to the company but he drove Lucille to the hospital, where the
operation was previously done, for an examination.
In the car, neither of them said a word. Although Lucille was very depressed, she kept comforting
herself. "All cold wars are temporary. As long as the examination proves that the operation had failed,
all misunderstandings will be resolved," she thought to herself.
When the two of them arrived at the hospital, Lucille followed behind Franklin, and saw a female doctor
in a white coat coming over.
"President Moore, how could the operation fail? You don't believe in my expertise?" The doctor, Bianca,
looked at Franklin with her eyes full of accusations.
"Oh, it's not that I don't believe it. It's just that she does not believe it." Franklin glanced at Lucille. "I
must do this examination. Otherwise, my wife will think that I have wronged her."
Franklin had a faint smile on his face, but his eyes were full of sarcasm.
Bianca glanced at Lucille with her eyes full of contempt. "Is this Mrs. Moore? You're really saving her
face, President Moore."
Bianca believed in her skills. Thus, she naturally believed that it was Lucille who had cheated on him.
Not only was Lucille wrongly accused by Franklin, but the doctor also accused her. She stood there
and argued with her very unhappily. "It's really hard to say. Maybe you have made a mistake."
Seeing that Lucille was angry and argued with Bianca, Franklin was a little surprised.
"What? How dare you talk so loudly when you are having an affair? Let me check then."
Bianca was not afraid. She ushered them into the room and then ushered Franklin to the collection
room.
After they obtained the collection, Bianca took it for examination.
After a while, the results came out. Bianca looked at the results and said, "There! What else do you
want to say? His sperm count is zero."
This data had fully demonstrated that Franklin did not have the ability to make someone pregnant.
Lucille looked at the results, and she was also stunned. She murmured, "But, but I really did not cheat
on you."
"Mrs. Moore, if you don't want others to know about it, you should not do it. You've done something
stupid. Do you think you can resolve this matter by pretending to be dumb?" Bianca looked at
Franklin's handsome face and could not help shaking her head. "I did not expect that you would cheat
on someone as handsome as President Moore."
"No! Don't talk nonsense!" Lucille was anxious.
Franklin leaned against the wall and said, "Tell me, who is the father?"
"It's you. It's really you." Lucille ran to Franklin's side and wanted to grab his hand, but he pushed her
hands away.
After that, he took out a handkerchief, wiped the place where she had touched him then threw it into
the trash can nearby.
The series of actions were done very naturally.
Lucille's face turned pale. She really did not know how to prove that the child was his. She really did
not cheat on him.
"You are really not content with what you have," Bianca grumbled.
"No, Mr. Moore, you have to believe me. There must be something wrong somewhere. You are the only
man, and I only have you." Lucille's tears swirled in her eyes.
She rarely argued reasonably. Previously, she did not have a way with words. Hence, she suffered
many losses.
But this time, she knew that she had to make things clear.
