Chapter 2 Wounded Little Brother Huo
Chapter 2 Wounded Little Brother Huo
She passed out after injecting the drug she developed. When she woke up, she found herself here.
Some strange memories were slowly intertwining with her own in her mind.
Lord Yuan’s eldest daughter, Yuan Qingling, had long been longing for the Prince, Yu Wenhao. At the
age of fifteen, she went to the princess's house for a banquet and set up a plan to tempt Prince
Wenhao to “sexually assault” her. After threatening to kill herself in humiliation, she successfully
married him.
Unfortunately, after marrying the Prince for a year, he didn't even bother to give her a glance no matter
how she tried.
As someone who studied science, although she had never been in love, she could figure out what had
happened last night from her physical pain.
Promoted from a genius doctor to a Princess of an unknown dynasty, Yuan Qingling only felt sorry that
the research project she was doing couldn’t continue.
It was so unscientific that her soul traveled back in time, but it happened. She didn't worry too much
about this though. Instead, she thought that if she could go back to the modern society, she might study
the supernatural.
Excessive blood loss made her feel dizzy. She decided not to think about anything at all, then walked
back to the bed and fell asleep.
Time passed. All of a sudden, there was a loud noise, accompanied by a terrible cry of pain outside.
“Go get the doctor!”
Outside the door, there was an anxious and panicked voice from Nurse Qi.
The smell of blood penetrated through the ajar wooden door.
Yuan Qingling held the chair with both hands, steadying her weak steps, and looked out.
She saw Nurse Qi and a maid supporting a young servant sitting on the porch. The young servant’s
eyes were bleeding with something stuck inside. He burst into tears with pain.
Nurse Qi was very anxious and wanted to reach out her hand to cover the bleeding place for him, but
the sharp object protruded on the eyeball, so she tried to remove it.
Seeing that, Yuan Qingling walked out quickly, with heavy pain everywhere in her body. "Don't move!"
Nurse Qi was taken aback. when she turned around and saw Yuan Qingling, she said madly, "It’s none
of your business. You shouldn’t be here."
Yuan Qingling checked the young servant’s condition and felt a little relieved. The sharp object was a
nail. It didn’t directly insert into his eyeball, but inserted in by the edge of the corner of his eye.
The nail got in deep. If it was pulled out forcibly, it would damage the cornea and even cause his
eyeball to blast.
"Tweezers, cotton, needles, spirits, and soup made with aconitum, scopolia, hemp, rhododendron
molle, and thorn apple. Be quick!" Yuan Qingling pulled away Nurse Qi and calmly ordered her.
Nurse Qi pushed her away and said furiously, "Don't touch my grandson."
“He can't wait till the doctor...”
Seeing that she was not going to stop, Nurse Qi pushed her into a room and locked her in.
Yuan Qingling fell to the ground. A cold sentence echoed in her mind. “No need to treat her like a
princess. Treat her like a dog.”
She was just a dog, and naturally all the servants wouldn’t respect her.
Yuan Qingling slowly lay back on the bed, listening to the cry of the young servant outside, feeling
upset.
His voice gradually faded away, and he was moved elsewhere.
He was just around ten. Text property © Nôvel(D)ra/ma.Org.
Unfortunately, if the treatment was delayed, his eye was injured and he could lose his life due to
infection.
Yuan Qingling wasn’t sympathetic to everyone. She studied in medicine, and she was doing medicine
and virus research. Her family members were all doctors. And the most frequently discussed topics by
the old generation at home since childhood was the responsibility of being a doctor and the ways of
treatment.
In the Yuan family's view, it was their duty to save people.
They made sure of it by actions and spent their entire lives doing it well.
