Your Love Is My Weapon

Chapter 425

Chapter 425

Bridget's head hit Jacob's chin. It hurt so much that Jacob frowned in pain. He said, "Are you okay?"

Bridget covered her forehead, looked up at him, and asked, "Why didn't you dodge me?"

"Can I make it in time if you fall on me so suddenly?" He said angrily. Besides, his chin also hurt.

Bridget blinked and leaned forward to stare at his face, saying, "Do you think I did it on purpose?"

Jacob said calmly, "I didn't say that."

"So what did you mean?" Bridget laughed helplessly.

Jacob took another bite of the apple and chewed it. After a long time, he said, "If you want to kiss me,

just say it. I'm not that stingy."

"Jacob!" Bridget stood barefoot on the ground, looking down at him and roaring in a low voice, "I

slipped and didn't want to kiss you!"

Jacob sat down and continued to watch TV, saying, "OK, why are you angry?"

Bridget was pissed off and said, "I don't like you!"

Then she walked towards the room.

Jacob looked back at her and saw how angry she was with the corners of his mouth turned up.

Bridget lay on the bed in a zigzag shape, occupying the whole bed by herself. She stared at the ceiling

and recalled the scene just now. Though it looked like she did it on purpose, in fact, she really didn't

mean it. She really slipped.

What would Jacob think of her?

"Ah!"

Bridget covered her head and was extremely agitated.

She was so angry that her feet kept kicking on the bed.

She swore that she would never watch TV with Jacob in the future. Never!

Knock, knock.

Bridget lifted the quilt and stared in the direction of the bedroom door, calling, "Who is it?"

"It's me. How can I sleep if you don't give me a quilt?" Jacob stood at the door of the bedroom and

said.

Bridget got up and picked up the quilt for him from the cabinet. She walked to the door and handed it to

him. Jacob glanced at the room and saw the bed was messy. Bridget turned around at the bed she had

just slept in. She looked embarrassed but soon pretended to be calm. "What are you looking at? Have

you ever seen someone who doesn't sleep well?"

Jacob said with a smile, "I thought you were grabbing the quilt in the room alone."

Then he carried the quilt and left.

Bridget was speechless.

It took Bridget a long time to understand what he meant.

Who was he talking about?

Bridget gritted her teeth and slammed the door shut.

Jacob stopped in his tracks and smiled slightly. But when he saw the sofa, he frowned again. It was

time to change to a bigger apartment. At least he had to sleep in a bedroom.

In the past, he lived alone. This apartment was big enough as it was a waste of time to clean it up. Now

that Bridget also lived here, there were not enough rooms.

Bridget was so angry that she didn't fall asleep for a long time. When she woke up in the morning, it

was already eight o'clock.

She quietly walked out. There was no one in the living room. The quilt was just thrown on the sofa. She

looked around and saw his loungewear, thinking that he should have left.

Bridget was about to go back to her room when she saw breakfast on the table. Bridget walked over

and saw a note on the table. It wrote, "Thank you for dinner last night. In return, I ordered breakfast for

you."

Jacob didn't know how to cook, nor did he have time to cook.

Bridget looked at the note and smiled. She sat in the chair and opened the box. It was still hot.

After breakfast, she packed up the food box and cleaned the house. Thinking of what she heard on a

variety show, she took her bag and went out.

Where Jacob lived was very convenient. It was easy to get into the car. She stood by the roadside not

long after stopping a taxi. After getting into the taxi, she began to look for a place to learn dancing on

her phone.

Why did she choose to dance?

That sentence was from a female guest on a variety show. She said that there were three ways a

woman could improve her charm and self-cultivation, reading, drawing, and dancing.

Reading and drawing were for internal cultivation. Dancing was for physique and temperament

cultivation.

In the past, she didn't like to read, nor did she have much interest in drawing. Maybe she used to train

and exercise in the army, so she chose to dance, which she thought she could learn well.

After finding a dance school with good ratings and reputation, she told the driver the address.

Soon she arrived there. Bridget paid and got out of the car. A receptionist came to receive her.

"Do you or does your child want to learn dancing?"

Bridget glanced at the receptionist and said, "I don't have children."

The waiter was not embarrassed and continued explaining, "Because we have a lot of parents here to

consult for their children. I thought you are also a parent. I'm so sorry."

Bridget waved her hand and said, "It's okay. I just want to know what kind of dance you teach here."

She really didn't know anything about this.

The receptionist called the dance instructor here to introduce her. She said, "We have folk dance, jazz,

Latin, and ballet."

The dance instructor seized Bridget up and said, "Both jazz and Latin are more suitable for you."

Ballet dancers should receive training from childhood. Folk dancers should also practice basic skills

from childhood. Only jazz and Latin could be learned at any age.

Bridget asked, "Could it improve my temperament?"

"What about Latin? Ballet can also make people more elegant. But your age isn't suitable for it."

Bridget nodded and asked, "Can I see your dance studio?"

"OK." The dance instructor took her upstairs. It was a big place with many rooms. Each classroom was

independent and soundproof. The instructor took her to a Latin training class for adults.

Some of the students inside were wearing tight dance costumes, showing their good figures. Bridget

looked inside and asked, "Where do these people come from?"

"Some are little girls, and some are married. This dance can greatly improve your temperament."

Bridget immediately decided to learn Latin.

She paid the tuition fee that day.

She thought that this kind of physical training should not be difficult. But she was wrong. Every

movement and every gesture should be made according to the instructor's strict requirements.

It was completely different from what she thought.

After a day of practice, she only learned a few basic movements and didn't do them well.

The instructor asked her to go home and practice more.

Bridget entered in high spirits and came out dejectedly. Standing on the side of the road, she took a

taxi and said Jacob's address. When they were near his home, she changed her mind and asked the

driver to go to the Jones Family's Old Residence. "I'm sorry to trouble you."

She suddenly remembered that she had to cook at home. But she was too tired to cook today.

The driver glanced at Bridget in the rear-view mirror and said with a smile, "You're welcome. I should

be the one thanking you for taking care of my business."

The taximeter was calculated according to the distance. If he drove more, he would earn more money.

Bridget held her head. They soon arrived at the Old Residence. Bridget paid the driver and got out of

the car.

When she entered the room, Nanny May happened to be cooking.

She shouted at Nanny May, "Make more. I'll eat at home."

"Are you alone? Is Jacob coming too?" Nanny May's voice came from the kitchen.

Bridget paused. How could she forget him?

So she called Jacob and asked if he would come back for dinner.

"Yes."

"I'm at the Old Residence. Come over after work." After that, Bridget hung up the phone and spread out

on the sofa.

Daisy hugged Ramona and pretended not to see Bridget coming. She was still unhappy about what

happened this morning.

Bridget got up and held her hand to coax her, "Jacob made me angry. I couldn't control my temper for a

moment. You will forgive me, right?"

"Go away." Daisy took off her hand. But she wasn't really angry with her. "You decide your own

business. You're an adult, not a child."

Bridget didn't see Arya and asked, "Where's my sister-in-law? She went to the company too?"

"She is in the backyard."

"I'll go and take a look." Bridget walked towards the backyard and happened to see Nanny Joy carrying

Max into the house. Bridget glanced at the child who was asleep. She turned away so that Nanny Joy

could come in.

Arya was sitting on the stone bench in a daze.

She found that Xavier didn't seem to like Max very much. She didn't know if it was because he was

Jasper's child. But she had promised Janet that she would take good care of the child. At this moment,

she was very upset.

"Sister-in-law." Bridget walked over.

Arya returned to her senses and smiled. "Here you are."

Bridget also sat on the stone bench and talked about dance learning. "I thought it would be easy to

learn, but it didn't end up like that."

Arya looked at her and asked, "What did you learn?"

Bridget stood up and posed for her.

Arya looked at her posture and couldn't help but come up to guide her. She patted her knee with her

hand and said, "You should bend your knees and put your fingers here."

Bridget changed her movements according to Arya's instructions and exclaimed, "My dance instructor

also said that I have these problems. How do you know, Arya?"

Arya sat back on the bench and smiled without saying a word.

"Sister-in-law, can you dance?" She was not sure, because she had never seen Arya dance before, but

she seemed to know those movements.

The smile on Arya's face gradually disappeared. She could dance. She had learned it since she was

very young. She didn't go to the dance academy to learn it but was taught by Danielle. Arya had never

danced since Danielle died.

Bridget held Arya's arms and said, "Show it to me. I saw that instructor could dance very well today."

Arya declined politely, "It's been a long time since I danced."

"Sister-in-law, why don't you show me? There's no one else, okay?" Bridget held Arya's shoulder and

shook her to act coquettishly.

Arya was helpless. She could only show her one dance.

She stood on the floor of the blue-stone brick. First of all, she stood still. Then, she moved. Her

footsteps were light as she danced. Latin was a sexy and charming type of dance. Her waist was

slender so that her body looked soft and her delicate eyes were attractive. They were sometimes

gentle and sometimes charming. Her movements changed with her expression.

There was no music or rhythm. But her movements were like rhythm. Every move she made was full of

rhythm, passion, and deep feelings.

Her waist was so slender that every time she twisted her crotch, Bridget would stare at Arya. Bridget's

heart pounded as she watched her. Arya was really seductive and feminine.

Outside the door, Jacob and Xavier came back together.

Daisy took care of Ramona in the living room. When she saw them coming back, she said, "Jacob,

here you are."

Jacob nodded politely and asked, "Where's Bridget?"

"In the backyard."

"I'll go and see her." Jacob walked towards the backyard.

Xavier came to see Ramona. She had just finished eating the milk and fell asleep. Her long eyelashes

were evenly scattered on her eyelids, curling up. She looked exactly like a porcelain doll, so beautiful.

Xavier leaned over and kissed her soft face as he unbuttoned his coat and asked, "Where's her

mother?"

"She might also be in the backyard," Daisy said.

Xavier straightened up and saw Jacob standing in a daze at the door of the backyard.

What did Bridget do? Why was he stunned?

Xavier was curious and took off his coat as he walked over.
