Your Love Is My Weapon

Chapter 451

Chapter 451

Caspar finally understood what Laura meant by "See you next time." Content © NôvelDrama.Org.

After the blind date, the matchmaker didn't say anything, and Caspar said to his parents that she was

good perfunctorily.

However, he had never expected that she would come straight to his home, and she came with the

relative who had given them a match.

As soon as Caspar entered, the relative and his mother pulled him into the room.

"Caspar, you're lucky..." As she spoke, she looked out. "She likes you."

Before Caspar could say anything, the relative said, "You got married once, and you're older than her.

It's lucky for you to find a young woman who has a good family background and likes you."

"Caspar, your aunt is right. I think that girl is pretty and polite. She bought a lot of things on her first

visit." Mrs. Gilbert wasn't pleased by her present but thought she was polite.

Caspar's face darkened.

"I have to marry the person that I like, right?" Caspar said coldly.

"I'm in charge this time!" Caspar's mother became forceful.

"You used to like Alice..."

"Don't mention her. I could accept her family and accept her because my son like her. But I can't accept

that she can't have a child!" Caspar's mother began to get excited as she spoke.

"Caspar, don't make your mother angry." His aunt quickly comforted Caspar's mother.

Caspar only felt a headache.

"Will you die without a grandchild?" Caspar understood his parents' feeling of losing their daughter and

rarely lost his temper in front of them.

This was the first time.

"You..."

His mother covered her chest. "Okay, if you want to piss me off, just do it. My life is meaningless

without Helen. I'll just go and die after her."

The aunt patted Caspar. "Are you really going to piss your mother off? Just give in."

Caspar's anger was abated by his mother's crying and he forced himself to say yes.

His mother wiped her tears. "You agreed?"

Caspar didn't say anything.

"Say something." His aunt patted him with some strength.

"Yes!" Caspar said.

"Well. Don't be angry since Caspar had agreed." His aunt comforted Caspar's mother.

Caspar's mother wiped away her tears. "I didn't want to force you. I just didn't want the Gilbert Family to

be extinct when it came to you. As the old saying goes, there are three forms of unfilial conduct, of

which the worst is to have no descendants. I don't have any other requirements for you. As long as you

marry someone who can give birth, I won't interfere with you anymore."

Caspar didn't want to say anything.

Alice had been missing for a few months without a trace.

Caspar knew that his mother must have said something to her, or forced her. Otherwise, she would not

leave so decisively.

It was as if she had disappeared from his world, leaving no trace.

"You can take her home and have some food with her or watch a movie." His aunt pushed Caspar out.

When Caspar came out of the room, Laura was looking at the flowers on the balcony.

They were all well raised by Caspar's father.

Hearing the sound, Laura turned to look at Caspar. "Are you surprised?"

Caspar curled his lips. "It's not a surprise. It's a little scary."

Laura smiled mischievously. "Am I a ghost?"

"Almost." Caspar walked out the door. "I'll take you back."

Laura followed, "I haven't eaten yet."

Caspar pretended not to hear and got into the car.

Laura felt sad and sat in the passenger seat. When she turned around and was about to say that he

was too inhumane, she saw Caspar's gloomy face.

Laura did not speak again.

Having been to Laura's house once, Caspar knew the way.

On the way back, Laura pursed her lips and asked out of curiosity, "Do you love your ex-wife very

much?"

Caspar did not say a word and looked straight at the road.

"Well, if you really don't like me, I won't force you. After all, I don't want to ravish you against your will."

Laura looked out the window with her cheeks in her hands.

She was not so brave as to be unafraid of being hurt. She tried her best to pursue it.

She left no regrets. That was enough.
