Be Your Lover Forever (Alicia)

Chapter 147

Looking at the man's posture, Alicia had probably guessed it. A bad feeling welled up in her heart all of a sudden.

Sure enough, a voice announcing the 'death sentence' came the next second. "Master Clements is waiting for you."

With great respect, the man made a gesture to show her the way. However, it gave her a feeling of oppression that she could not refuse.

Alicia pursed her lips and instinctively swallowed her saliva. She was grabbing the hem of her clothes and was petrified. She looked up at him and replied, "I drove here..."

The implication was that she had to drive her car home. Hence, was it possible for her to not meet Frederick?

"Master Frederick has been waiting for you for an hour! You can pass your car key to me for the time being!"

His words gave her immense pressure. Alicia's heart skipped a beat as the warning alarm sounded in her heart. In the end, she couldn't escape her fate!

Thinking that things would still end up the same no matter if she went or not, Alicia took out her car key and handed it to him. Then, she turned around, raised her head, and puffed out her chest. She looked brave as she walked away.

Chet's eyes widened and he was flustered. This woman was really bold! How could she still be so arrogant when she was in such a situation?

She made one of the most important people in Casterwich City wait for her for an hour! Everyone knew that Master Frederick had never waited for anyone.

This made him feel puzzled. Why didn't Frederick say anything but chose to wait in the car?

He was full of doubts, yet he strode forward and opened the door for Alicia as she arrived at the car.

As soon as Alicia stopped, it seemed that her breathing had paused too.

Taking a deep breath, she bent over and got in. Then, the blood all over her body seemed to be frozen. She felt like her eyes were unable to move too.

As for Chet, he soon returned to the driver's seat to drive the car.

Along the way, there was complete silence in the car, which caused a weird and deadly atmosphere.

Alicia lowered her head while fumbling with her hands uneasily. She was feeling as if everything was going to blow up in a while.

What should she do? The situation was not quite right! Why did he wait for her?

She wouldn't suffer too miserably, would she?

She just badmouthed him a little. After such a long time, he should have cooled down a lot, shouldn't he?

As thoughts were appearing in Alicia's mind, she couldn't help but lower her head. She knew that he must be mad!

Alas, she was afraid that it wouldn't be a good day!

She was prepared for the worst!

What a miserable life...

In the midst of anxiety, the slight sound of the car braking could be heard, making Alicia tremble slightly. Looking up, she saw that the man who had been indifferent for the whole night had already pushed the door open.

"Leave the car behind!"

Before Alicia came to her senses, there was a loud bang on the door.

With a shiver, she turned around and was about to push the door open. However, the door was opened all of a sudden and a strong arm reached in to drag her out with force.

Frederick then shook her off and Alicia almost fell to the ground. "Ouch!"

She staggered and stumbled. She bent over with her hands touching the ground to prevent her knees from scraping the ground. Nonetheless, a layer of skin was still scraped.

"Get in!"

Alicia's body trembled again at the sound of the roar. She got up and subconsciously shrank her neck.

She had never seen him this mad before. He seemed to be engulfed in a horrifying flame. His face was gloomy yet icy-cold, which sent a shiver down her spine.

Suddenly, a deep sense of fear arose from the bottom of Alicia's heart.

The momentary fear only lasted for less than three seconds. In the past three years, she had experienced all kinds of ups and downs. She once wanted to die as well!

Thinking that she didn't owe him anything, she just followed him.

After entering the house, Frederick walked to the bar and opened a bottle of red wine from a wine cabinet. He drank three glasses in a row. Seeing that she was walking in as slow as a snail, Frederick smashed the wine glass with a bang. With great strength, he broke the bottom of the wine glass.

"Alicia Blanchard, are you insane? Why do you always infuriate me like this? I think you should be scolded and punished for you to finally learn your lesson!"

It was already late at night; how could she hook up with a random man on the streets? Besides, it was his friend!

Frederick's deep voice couldn't conceal his anger. He pursed his lips but Alicia didn't answer as she felt deeply insulted.

He was looking down on her! He had been looking down on her since the beginning!

This was the only thing that she felt at this moment!

Alicia knew that she couldn't change his impression of her. After learning what he said, the idea of breaking up had been engraved in her mind.

She was infuriated too but she chose not to irritate him! It was just her instinct to protect herself.

Seeing that she was upset and silent, Frederick became angrier. "Are you dumb? Say something!"

"I don't have anything to say..." She needed money and she loved money. Didn't he already know that?

Noticing that her tone was indifferent, coupled with the fact that he had never been ignored like this, he almost went mad.

He had been waiting for her in the car but she was still in the mood to make money. She didn't even say anything when she got into the car. Was her little vault more important than him? Was this woman an imbecile?

He got up to drag her over, lifted her chin up and asked, "Are you willing to do anything to get the money? Were you going to climb into a man's bed as well? Alicia, you are so-¹'

Cheap!

When the word almost spilled out from his mouth, Frederick suddenly stopped as if he had realized something. However, his voice and contemptuous glare had brought out the things that he wanted to say.

In the past three years, the word "cheap" had been used on her frequently, especially by men.

That's right!

If she hadn't been cheap, why would she be cheated by a man for so long? How could she still refuse to accept the truth when she was once abandoned at the altar? NôvelDrama.Org holds © this.

If she hadn't been cheap, how could she be so obstinate that she couldn't let go or forget about it even after three years?

If she hadn't been so cheap, her father wouldn't get so furious to the point that he collapsed and remained in a coma.

If she hadn't been so cheap, she wouldn't have gone to the nightclub to dance.

If she hadn't been cheap, she wouldn't feel upset for someone like him. She wouldn't treat him like a king and embrace all of his bad attitudes, would she?

In an instant, the walls of defense in her heart seemed to have collapsed. It was as if she had returned to the moment three years ago when all of her relatives and friends were chiding her. Alicia's face turned gloomy, pale and upset as her mind became full of nightmares and horrors.

"...You are really cheap!"
