Be Your Lover Forever (Alicia)

Chapter 771

Unfortunately...

Why was her wish in vain? Why was she in such a state of devastation?

She smiled bitterly as she looked at her bedroom. It used to feel so warm in here but the space felt nothing but cold these days, much like her life. She didn't know when she had stopped feeling happy, or when that feeling of joy was replaced with wounds and scars.

What kind of days did she live through these days?

Victoria irritably pulled at her hair. "No! They must be happily embracing each other right now! Why was she the only one who needed to bear this burden alone?"

She also wanted to be happy!Belongs to NôvelDrama.Org - All rights reserved.

"I'm going out to look for inspiration!" She thought to herself.

She slowly pushed herself to get up. After cleaning and tidying up her old place, she stuffed all her commonly used items into a luggage before bringing it back home with her.

The next day, she went to the company and made a few arrangements. After that, she went straight to the airport.

Trevor met with the doctor and had discussed the surgery procedure in Korea. He then arranged for Selena to have all sorts of physical examinations before the surgery. He was busily fulfilling his peripheral arrangements and official duties.

Nheless, regardless of how busy he was, he would always make sure to call Victoria as soon as he got home. However, whenever he did, he would always be met with either an unanswered call, or the sound of his call being transferred to voicemail. Over the past few days, his calls never got through nor did he receive any response to his texts. He started to feel anxious all over.

He would occasionally call home and ask if anything out of the ordinary had happened, but the housekeeper always informed him that Victoria was fine. This was because Victoria wasn't home, and Trevor never mentioned anything about them not being in contact with each other. Thus, the housekeeper didn't think that there was anything amiss between the two.

At that moment, it was frustratingly crowded in a high-class exhibition hall. However, Victoria still gracefully made her way around the place. She grabbed the camera and took pictures of the display tables of each cartoon. She was alone and had a small backpack strapped to her back with a lollipop in her mouth. She was having a blast.

She was deeply attracted by a classically styled fox doll in front of the exhibition stage. This was the reconstruction of a classic model of the beauty series of three countries. The hand-drawn face, exquisite clothes, and even the background of the exhibition stage were designed with an ancient look in mind, which was even more charming to look at than the scenes on TV.

Upon seeing that the two most expensive items were still on sale, she reached out and pointed at them. "Are these two sold as a whole?" She asked.

They were a pair of sisters dressed in red. Looking at the label, their names seemed to be Anna and Belle. Next to them was the sculpture of a red chamber. Although the sculpture looked tender and benign at first glance, Victoria felt that the true fate of it was somewhat tragic. She decided that she didn't like it much.

Anna and Belle. They were sisters dressed in festively red outfits, and were relatively more beautiful since their story had a romantic element to it. She liked this!

"You've got a good eye. They're sold as a whole. The decorative background isn't included but but they do come with the fan in their hand! This is the trademark brand of our Human Sect today. It's the most luxurious set of sisters!" The salesperson exclaimed.

"Alright, I'll take it! Please pack them up separately and have them wrapped prettily!" Victoria said.

"Thank you for your support!" The salesperson flashed a smile at her.

A woman then took away the doll on the platform and put it into a carved wooden box. The outer layer of the white velvet wrapper was covered with an anti-shock layer. On the side of the box was a small wooden board with the "birth certificate" of the doll written on it!

Victoria suddenly thought that this was such an interesting find!

In fact, she was most interested in the design and workmanship of it. The workmanship appeared to be rather exquisite. The handicraft had such unique characteristics and some of the minute elements on the clothes were very eye-catching!

They happened to be a pair of sisters, which meant that she could give one to Alicia and keep the other one for herself. How perfect!

Since they studied design, their first few clothing designs were mostly of the pink palette, much like the Barbie dolls line-up. Hence, they loved these kinds of dolls and have a soft spot for them!

Nine thousand nine hundred and nine. Even the price was pleasing to the ears!

Victoria slowly squeezed out of the crowd with many hauls in her hands. It was so early in the morning yet she was already sweating! She might have sweated a bucket by afternoon!

When she got tired, she found a high-end restaurant nearby, chose a table by a quiet corner, and ordered herself some food. She then took out her mobile phone and turned it on. There were a bunch of missed calls.

She only called a few friends back while she ignored him without a second thought. When she hung up the phone, she felt a surge of irritation in her heart. "I hate you so much," she said to herself.

Victoria casually sent a sticker as she dug into delicious food. At that moment, a few more messages popped up on her screen. Although she didn't properly look at them, she saw who sent them. She lifted her eyelids and snorted twice.

"Aren't you being a little too annoying? You don't even want me to have a good meal? You keep some other women company every other day. Aren't you ashamed to talk to me? Are you crazy? Who cares what you are doing? I'm not looking!" She mumbled to herself.

As she was in the midst of talking to herself, she suddenly thought of something. She then sent a message saying, "I have an idiotic and a glass- hearted husband. What should I do if he keeps disturbing me on the phone? I feel so annoyed!"

As soon as she sent it out, a new post popped into her vision. "Is it worth it to sacrifice yourself for your boyfriend? I'm being bullied by hooligans," it wrote.

She suddenly thought of her past self. Victoria clicked on it and replied, "It's not worth it! A boyfriend who can't protect a woman is a good-for-nothing. You should discard him as far away as you can! Hooligan or not, just fight back! Be happy!"

Victoria then sent her a "good luck" emoticon!

As soon as she finished replying,

she realized that her post also had a new reply. When she opened it, it turned out to be a coincidence. The poster also replied to her with a new post. It's simple, give him a taste of his own medicine. Be cruder devise aplan to solve the problem and see it through (smiling emoji)," the post wrote.

On the other hand, in the office, Waverly initially just wanted to vent her anger. She was also surprised that the both of them shared such a fate. She then secretly sent her a private message and added her.

As they were strangers, they had no idea what they each looked like at all. They just regarded each other as online friends, and they had a very heated chat.

Both of them felt much better after

venting their anger. However, they were still separated by thework. Therefore, Victoria didn't ask

Waverly to help her with the plug-in. Instead, she spent money to have

someone consult her. In the end, she

followed her suggestion and installed a plugin on her mobile phone. It was similar to a blacklist. However, text messages and phone calls could still be received. If she didn't answer it, it would

automatically reply with a 'the line is busy' message!

After resting for a while in the restaurant, Victoria went to the exhibition once again. After she was satisfied with her hauls, she happily returned to the hotel.

Trevor's trip took a week long, since

he had to deal with official business and Selena's illness. With his heart set on speeding home, he finally returned. Knowing that Victoria might still be angry with him, he specially picked up an array of small gifts and chocolates along the way. He also went to three different florists to gather ny-nine pink tulips to surprise her.

Along the way home, he passed by a snack shop, and bought her two boxes of egg yolk crisps. He was glad to have bought whatever he thought she

liked.
