Be Your Lover Forever (Alicia)

Chapter 772

When Trevor excitedly got home, he asked the kitchen to marinate the steak. Hethen took a shower and tidied up a little. He then personally drove to her company and even called her on the way.

But similarly, he still couldn't contact her even after reaching his destination. Trevor had not met her at D & jill studio either. He slumped his shoulders in disappointment.

"If she isn't here, do you know where she is then?" Trevor asked.

Both shop assistants were confused at his question. "Huh?"

They looked at each other, and one of them said in a low voice, "If Master Trevor doesn't know, how would we? Miss Atlas only said that she was going on a trip and asked us to look after the shop!"

Abigail nodded. "Yes! We're only here to work. Miss Atlas will let us know if she needs anything!"

"A... trip?" Trevor asked in disbelief.

Trevor couldn't believe his ears. "When did she go on this trip?"

Was she not in Casterwich City?

"It's been a while. A week, I guess?" One of the girls replied.

"You didn't know about it? Didn't Miss Atlas tell you?" The other girl asked.

As they were muttering amongst themselves, Trevor's expression instantly changed. He turned around and walked out of the shop. A week? She never came back after leaving that day?

It was no wonder he couldn't reach her on the phone the entire time. Did something happen?

He immediately called home to ask about the situation, "What? She hasn't returned from her business trip? Why did you tell me that everything was fine every time I asked about the situation at home then?"

Trevor hung up the phone with a loud slam. He was very enraged. What a group of good-for-nothings! Did he not periodically ask them about the situation at home? How could they not know anything?

Was she on a trip or a business trip? Whichever it was, Trevor suddenly realized that things were more serious than he thought. After Trevor called Holger to check for flight ticket records, he called Frederick as he was too embarrassed to reach out to Alicia.

"You want me to ask Ally... about Victoria?" Frederick asked.

He didn't hear him wrongly, did he?

Frederick couldn't understand what was happening. He was a little confused about this request.

"Isn't she out traveling? I saw their chat yesterday. She said that she had bought something for Alicia from the exhibition and wanted to give it to her when she returned. Alicia was very happy and they talked for more than half an hour! What do you want to know about her?" He asked.

Before he could say more, he heard the other end of the phone saying, "Alright then, I'm hanging up!"

When he heard that Trevor had hung up, Frederick looked at the phone and felt puzzled. What was going on? Had he woken up on the wrong side of the bed?

Trevor was more relieved knowing that she wasn't lost. At that moment, Holger called.

"Trevor, Victoria first went to Bayton City. However, there was an expense record at a shoe store in Denwich the day before yesterday..." He explained. Although these two cities weren't far from each other, they still required some short-distance car trips!

It meant that it was still unclear as to where she

was.

"I see, it's alright now!" Trevor exclaimed.

Trevor hung up the phone and slowly closed his eyes with a frown. How wild was she that she didn't even bother answering his calls or replied to him? Was she still mad at him?

His enthusiasm was being watered down. For a brief moment, Trevor was so angry that his stomach ached. He suddenly remembered that she was also like this previously. He had waited for her for more than a month before he finally got to her at the airport.

How could he forget that she had the habit of running away?

He was fatigued, so he turned around and went home. He didn't even eat anything and just slept until the next day.

Upon his return, Trevor also had a lot of work on hand. He was busy on a daily basis. However, whenever he came home and saw the emptiness and coldness of the room, his heart would sink.

It was almost eleven o'clock when Trevor entered his bedroom after he returned from a social gathering.

When he opened the door, he only felt cold air. He tugged his tie as his gaze fell on the huge, adorable rabbit sitting on the bed. Then, he paused.

Rabbit? That was the rabbit he gave her! In the past, every time he entered the room, he would see her hugging it or leaning against it.

This was the first time that Trevor felt so unhappy and troubled. It was as if there were unspeakable raging heat and discomfort in his chest!

He took off his clothes and took a

shower. When he came out, his stomach still felt a slight burning sensation. He quickly poured a cup of warm water for himself. When Ke turned around, he saw the empty red mug warmer on the bedside table. He remembered that every time he came back from social activities, there would always be a glass of milk on it. Although it wasn't his favorite, it always made him feel so warm!

All of a sudden, Trevor's stomach was even more uncomfortable!

He turned around and warmed a glass of milk for himself. He then returned to his room and held the cute rabbit in his arms. Her scent still lingered on it, a faint and pleasant smell of gardenia.

"I miss you... When are you coming back?" Trevor thought to himself.

Could it be another month?

As he thought about the possibility of waiting for more than half a month, Trevor suddenly felt empty. The days seemed to dread on and on!

He turned on his phone and sent her another message. "Vicky, are you still angry at me?"

As usual, there was no reply!

Soon after, he sent her another message, "I miss you, please come back! How about I pick you up?"

Yet another similar silence.

Trevor suddenly realized just how many messages he had sent her in the past month as he scrolled through their chat. There had been at least dozens of messages, yet she never replied to him since the day she left.

As he clicked on her profile picture of a cute rabbit, a bright photo came into his sight. Trevor instantly sat up and clicked on it. It was a gif that she posted.

"Good wine on the beach plus a handsome man. The sun is just right. Hahaha!" She wrote.

It was her post three days ago by

the beach. It was obviously a warm city in the south. The sky and the sea were blue. She was wearing a sun hat and a swimsuit. Half- squinting her eyes, her delicate and beautiful face under the sun was like a lovely blooming sunflower, One of the photos was her selfie while the other one was a full-body photo of her running on the beach as her veil dress floated with the sea breeze. She was holding her clothes with one hand and the hat with another. Her half-naked figure could be seen at a glance.

She was smiling very happily and her round eyes were narrowed into a line!

As he scrolled down, he saw another

traveling photo of hers. It was a selfie of her eating some kind of street food at a bustling street and she was smiling very beautifully. However, Trevor suddenly spotted a palm of a man on one side of the photo. At that moment, he instantly fell into a fit of rage.

"Damn it! Who is this? Who is she with?" He shouted to himself.

"Who took all these pictures for her?" He added.

He continued to look through her timeline, annoyed. These were old posts, and most of them were about her moods.

"I am in a good mood today! I received a big cute rabbit!" She wrote.

"A new life has begun, you can do it..." She added.
