Find me in your labyrinth (Stella and Jonathan)

Chapter 153

Chapter 153

Jonathan put out the cigarette in his hand in the ashtray, crossed his legs, and spoke with an elegant

and noble demeanor, “I’ve already made plans with someone else, I can’t cancel on them. I’ll treat you

guys some other time.”

Chris quickly replied, “No way, you’ve done us such a huge favor, and I should be the one thanking

you!”

“No need to be so polite!” Jonathan looked at the smiling, sunny boy in front of him. “Are you and

Estelle classmates?”

Chris laughed, “No, I’m in the foreign language department.”

Jonathan nodded slightly, and his eyes deepened a bit, “Do you like Estelle?”

Chris was stunned and quickly shook his head, “No, you’ve misunderstood. She’s a great person and

excellent in many ways, but we’re just ordinary friends!”

“What about Estelle?” Jonathan asked.

Chris laughed, “I think she only sees me as a classmate too.”

Jonathan spoke slowly, “Her parents aren’t in J City, and they left her in my care. They asked me not to

let her date in college, so I just wanted to make sure.”

Chris nodded and replied, “I understand, don’t worry, we don’t have any ambiguous relationship.”

Jonathan smiled faintly, “That’s good! Estelle is having dinner with you? You should go then, don’t keep

her waiting!”

“I won’t disturb you any longer then!” Chris stood up.

“Don’t mention our encounter to Estelle,” Jonathan said softly.

“I got it!” Chris smiled knowingly, “Mr. Lamont, goodbye!”

“Mm–hmm,” Jonathan nodded slowly.

After Chris left, Jonathan got up and went to the elevator, heading to the third floor.

Chris returned to the private room without mentioning his encounter with Jonathan, and continued the

previous conversation with the

two.

Dinner was quite enjoyable, and afterwards, Chris went to pay the bill only to find out that someone had

already paid for them. He was surprised and quickly realized that Jonathan must have taken care of it.

He went back and simply smiled sincerely, “Estelle, Mr. Lamont is so good to you!”

Estelle was puzzled, not knowing what his sudden remark meant.

Chris didn’t elaborate, only offering, “Shall I give you guys a ride back?”

Despite the pleasant atmosphere and the lingering desire for more enjoyment, Chris reconsidered his

plan to go singing and drinking with Estelle after dinner. Observing Jonathan’s presence, he realized

that Jonathan had strict expectations regarding Estelle’s upbringing, which caused him to change his

mind.

“No need,” Estelle smiled warmly, “how can you ride both of us on your bike? We’ll just take a taxi. I’ll

treat you some other day!”

Chris said, “Alright, let’s make plans again soon!”

The three said their goodbyes, and Estelle and Emily took a taxi back to the Royal Mansion while Chris

rode his bike home. After returning home, Estelle and Emily took a shower, ate ice cream, and sat in

the living room watching a movie, occasionally chatting about the evening’s events.

As they were halfway through the movie, Estelle’s phone on her right side illuminated with a

notification.

Grabbing her phone, Estelle stood up and announced, “I need to attend to something!”

Emily waved her hand dismissively, reassuring Estelle, “Don’t worry about me, go ahead!” This text is property of Nô/velD/rama.Org.

Estelle went into the bedroom, turned on her phone, and clicked on an eagle–head logo app. The

phone screen flashed, revealing a password box.

She entered the password and immediately accessed the mission homepage.

At the same time, the two–colored eagle heads at the top of the homepage lit up.

“A new mission?” Goshawk’s voice was filled with excitement.
