Mistake with the Alpha

I quickly removed my cap and covered the vomit so as not to make them see it. I was so ashamed of myself. "I'm so sorry" she said shakingly.

I couldn't even look up. I was just crying. It was as if Sally and the rest were expecting such a thing to happen. The maids quickly ran to start cleaning up. I was not happy with the way he said what he said but then I was still glad that he didn't scold me in front of everyone. Two maids came to help me up and then escorted me to the clinic. "Apologies Sir, she was fine before now" I heard Sally say.

I didn't hear anything else. My tears wouldn't stop falling till we got to the clinic.

"Must you have so much bad luck?" One of the maids that was taking me to the clinic asked.

"C'mon don't be mean" the other corrected.

I didn't even give ears to them. My problem is far greater than arguing with them. The physician had been notified so he was already waiting for us. He attended to me personally. I should have known that Sally is behind this. "How are you feeling?" He asked me.

"I feel tired and nauseous," I replied.

"Do you have a mate?"

I shook my head with ignominy. He gave me a drug and then made me lie down.

"Your test result will be out soon" he said and left.

While I waited for the physician's result, I prayed in my heart that nothing serious should happen to me. I don't want to encounter another trouble in my life for now. At least there should be a break.

After a while, the physician came back with the result. He was looking so confused and this scared me.

"Are you sure you don't have a mate?" He asked again.

I begin to wonder why the repetition of this question.

"Would I have a mate and lie?" I asked.

"Apologies Miss but it's your test result that is getting me confused. What I'm seeing is that you are eight days gone" he said.

I frown at him since I don't know the meaning of eight days gone.

"Can you be clear enough?"

My chest was bearing hard waiting for the worst disease that could have attacked me.

"I mean you are eight days pregnant," he said.

I smiled at him like he was saying something very stupid.

"You are joking right?" I asked to be sure.

"Are you a virgin?" He asked.

I shook my head. Well it not a news that I'm the Alpha's wh*re so there's no point lying and I can't even lie to a physician.

"Miss, this might look very absurd but you are really pregnant" he said with a straight face.

Now I knew he wasn't joking. I don't have a mate and the only person I've slept with recently is Jaylen. Could it be that Jaylen got me pregnant? I shook my head at this thought. Jaylen is not my mate and can't get me pregnant. Tears start to fall from my eyes. "Why are things always falling apart for me?" I asked the physician.

"Pregnancy is a good thing," he said.

I don't think this man understands. The person who got me pregnant is not my mate and this will also bring bigger trouble for me.

"You need to relax Miss. Your body is still healing from the last incident, that's why you got weak and nauseous. I'll have to keep you here to monitor you" he said professionally.

"No, you can't keep me here. I have to go home" I disagreed.

"Why?" He asked me.

"Nothing," I replied.

"Then I won't listen to you until I give the Alpha report of what happened to you" he replied.

I was planning not to let anyone know about this and run home but him mentioning the Alpha means he is ready to go tell him. I held the physician's hand.

"Please can you not tell the Alpha?" I begged.

"The Alpha was the one who told me to come attend to you and he will surely need a report".

"Ah," I said softly.

If I had been in a good mood I would have been glad that Jaylen even cared to think about me but now I'm in such a messed up position. Who would I tell that I'm pregnant without a mate and wouldn't think I'm lying. "Please just tell him something else" I said.

I knew I had no choice but to face this again. I started to cry.

"Ain't you so tired of crying?" Sally asked me.

Looking at Sally, she's the one I needed most now. I didn't even know she would come to see me this quickly. She came to me and hugged me tight.
