Mistake with the Alpha

Everything that happened, happened so fast that it was as if I was in a nightmare. Sally had nagged me for not eating all the while. She had gone to the market with some maids and came back to find me still sleeping.

I lazily stood up and went to the kitchen to get something to eat.

"Are you still sick?" Susan asked me.

I shook my head and smiled at her. "I'm just hungry," I replied.

She then fixed my food and I was eating when I saw guards enter the kitchen. I didn't even concentrate on them until they came to me and dragged me up.

"What did I do?" I asked, afraid.

I then thought that Allison had started with her thing to torment me. It was when I got to the pack hall that I got to know that it wasn't Allison but Jaylen's father. He seems very angry with me. What have I done to deserve this man's anger?

I didn't fail to remember that of all Jaylen's family, he's the one siding with Allison and her father. He hates me for not allowing Jaylen to marry Allison. So I knew Allison would have cried to him that I'm pregnant.

He kept on ranting, calling me different names. He said a lot about my pregnancy and I only stayed there looking. I then didn't feel like crying. I had cried so much that I don't have any more strength in me to cry again. When Jaylen came, he said that he is the father of my child.

I looked at him. We haven't even seen each other since I found out I'm pregnant. It's only Ethan and Drey that come to visit me. I then do ask after Jaylen from Ethan. I had thought that he was angry that I got pregnant. But now he's saying the child is his. I'm confused.

Now to increase my problem, the lycan Prince came. I saw the anger in Jaylen's eyes. He must have been angry with me for making his life so dramatic. I didn't mean to. If I had known that Jaylen could impregnate me, I would have made sure that I avoid anything called pregnancy.

I wasn't surprised when John and the painter came out to be a witness that John owns my pregnancy. Seeing him yesterday, I knew he was up to something, so this was it. I just sat there waiting for their final verdict.

Anytime I looked at Jaylen, tears would threaten to fall but I'll send it back. I've shed enough tears. My tears wouldn't make them pity me so why waste it. But then all these were weighing me down. I didn't have enough time to eat and my baby needs it. I'm getting so weak.

Just then Jaylen's judgement hit me hard. It's as if he's been trying to find a way to punish me all the while. I didn't blame him for believing them. They were quite convincing. He must have been so angry that he trusted me and I did that to him.

I didn't regret what happened between Jaylen and I. I was glad I even got the chance to be loved. Moreover, he could see that I was hungry and asked them to feed me.

The guards didn't even touch me, it was as if they were escorting me there. I was walking slowly and none disturbed me. When I got to the hade's prison, it was like a tunnel. Every door shut tight. You can't even see anyone in there.

The door to mine opened and I entered. There wasn't even a bed in there. It was all plain. Not even a blanket. I looked around and saw that the window was so small that just a little breeze would manage to get through. I sat down waiting for the day I would choke to death. I then looked up and saw different types of weapon. This was what scared me. The place was quite dark but then I could see the shining silver weapons. Now I knew it wasn't a lie. There were indeed scary weapons there. Only that it was hidden up the ceiling. How they did it, I don't even know.

"They ain't going to t*****e us. Are they?" Crystal asked in fear.

"I don't know," I sighed.

"This is all my fault Sam. I'm really sorry". Crystal said after a while.

"Don't say that. I was already in love with him. Even if you didn't tell me to go ahead I will still do it" I said weakly.

Crystal didn't say more. She knew I was right. We share the same emotions so no one is at fault here. It's love that got wrong in our life.

I was waiting for the food Jaylen asked them to give me. At least I would have strength to face this day. The food didn't come so I laid to sleep. At first the floor was so cold but then Crystal helped me by increasing our warmth and I felt comfortable. "Don't worry I'll live for you baby" I said, rubbing my stomach.

I was already asleep when I saw the gate making a sound. I sat up glad that the food was finally coming. I was ready to devour the food but then Jaylen walked in. I stood up when I saw him.

"What does he want?" I asked in my heart.

We stood there looking at each other.
