Obsessive CEO’s Sinful Wife

Chapter 572

Chapter 572

Finn Gordon’s lounge.

Behind them, Aria lowered her gaze to conceal the intense hatred in her eyes.

Lucas… He had said all those things to her in front of everyone because of Serenity. What did Serenity have that she did not?! What was so great about her?! No matter what, Aria would find a way to wipe out any chance that Serenity might have to he

with Lucas!

Serenity and Lisa finally arrived at Finn Gordon’s lounge after following his assistant’s lead, Owned by NôvelDrama.Org.

Finn turned out to be very warm and friendly with both of them. He even voluntarily asked them if they would like to take a photo with him and even told them, “If both of you would like tickets to my movies or anything like that in the future, just give me a call. I’ll get my staff to send them to you right away.”

As he spoke, he took the initiative to give Lisa his private phone number himself. In his mind, after seeing Serenity with Jackson Valor that day and hearing from Mr. Valor himself saying that Serenity was his girlfriend, he naturally felt it wise to strike up a good friendship with this woman.

After all, the more key connections you made in the entertainment industry, the better it would be.

And seeing that Lisa was Serenity’s best friend, he was naturally happy to extend the friendship to her as well.

If Finn Gordon had voluntarily given his phone number to Lisa before what had happened back there, she would have died in bliss, yet now. all she did was accept the number and thank him politely.

After getting Finn’s autograph and posters, Lisa then told him, “We won’t take up any more of your time, Finn. Please excuse us. Thanks for everything!”

As she spoke, she took Serenity’s hand and led her out of the room.

Serenity eyed her friend suspiciously. She had assumed that Lisa would want to spend a little more time with Finn Gordon. When they finally got out of the lounge, she asked Lisa, “Why were you in such a rush to leave? Did you panic after meeting your idol for the first time?”

“Of course not!” Lisa rolled her eyes at what her friend had just suggested. “I just feel guilty for dragging you here today.”

“Because of what happened with Aria?” Serenity asked.

“She did all that in front of all those fans on purpose!” said Lisa. “She was clearly trying to frame you! Now, only heaven knows what vile things people will say about you online!”

Lisa had always loved reading gossip about celebrities, so she was naturally quick to connect the dots.

“Let them say what they want,” Serenity shrugged. It had been a long time since she last cared about rumors and gossip. In the past, she used to try to maintain a good image in the eyes of the public, but then she realized that caring too much about what other people think would only hurt herself.

If she still cared about what other people said about her after coming out of prison, she would have hung herself and died a long time ago.

“Why don’t you ask for Jackson’s help?” Lisa suggested, believing that a man like Jackson Valor would probably be able to

clear

up the matter in seconds. “You can tell him to let his people suppress any unflattering rumors about you online.”

Serenity studied her friend’s anxious face and patted her shoulder, assuring her, “Okay, understood. You don’t need to worry

about me anymore.

“By the way,” said Lisa, suddenly thinking of something, “what is going on between you and Lucas Gomez? Back there, he looked like he was… pretty concerned about you. He made a foul of Aria just to help you.”

No matter how Lasa looked at it, it was obvious that Lucas was taking Serenity’s side even though he was Aria’s boyfriend!

“It’s all just because I look like someone he knew,” Serenity explained. “Perhaps… he lost contact with that person and never found her again, so it cheers him up a little whenever he sees ane.”

She made all these guesses based on what she had learned from her conversations with Lancas

“That makes sense,” replied Lisa after thinking about it. “I read in some gossip sites before that all of Luras’s numerous girlfriends were nothing but a substitute, that he’s actually sparing me effort to lack for a certain woman.

Back then, she used to think that it was nothing but nonsensical rumors people online were spreading, but now, it seemed

that it might actually be true.

As the two were talking to each other, Terry walked up toward them.

Lisa was once again awash with guilt and instinctively hid herself behind Serenity.

“What’s wrong?” asked Terry in a stern voice. “So, you’ve got the guts to lie to me and say you were going to work overtime today, but you don’t have the guts to face me now?
