Richest Mogul 1061
Chapter 1061
Janine thought momentarily and concluded there was nothing she needed to take. “I’ll find some time to go back and stay for a couple of days soon. I’ll tidy up everything. If I need anything, I’ll just bring it back.”
After ending the video call, Skylar checked the bus schedule and saw there was still an hour until her bus. She decided to tidy up the house a bit more.
When Janine mentioned Finn, Skylar realized she didn’t have many memories of him.
When she was tidying up, she stumbled upon an old black–and–white photograph.
It was a picture of Finn when he was young. She noted how much Steven resembled him.
Her parents truly made a pair, one handsome and the other beautiful. Many of the male and female celebrities on TV today would pale in comparison to them. Text content © NôvelDrama.Org.
After studying the photograph closely, she placed it in her suitcase. Although she didn’t have many memories of Finn, she recalled how Steven and the others often told her that their dad had doted on her when she was little, even carrying her around everywhere.
Harvey had been jealous of her because of it.
Once she finished packing, she locked the door ånd headed to the village entrance to wait for the bus to Liberty County.
While she waited, Natalie called.
“Skye, I got back last night. I came home so late that I slept through until now. Let’s plan to hang out this weekend once I’ve rested up.”
“Sure, let’s meet up this weekend,” Skylar replied. They chatted for a few more minutes before the bus arrived, and she hung up to board.
Natalie rolled over in bed a couple of times, stifling a few yawns, before finally getting up. There was nothing quite like her own bed at home.
Today, Kate had asked her to come home for lunch.
It was already 11:00 am when Natalie washed her face and changed her clothes before heading over. She quickly splashed some water on her face, applied a simple skincare routine, and then hopped into the car.
Before long, she arrived home.
Damon opened the door.
“Dad, I’m back. It feels like you’ve gotten ten years younger in the three months I’ve been gone.”
Damon couldn’t help but laugh heartily. “Really?”
“Of course.”
As Kate was busy bringing out the dishes, she overheard Natalie’s playful remark and immediately shot Damon a teasing look.
She said, “With that beer belly, you look younger by ten years? Your daughter is just flattering you. Don’t take it seriously. You need to go for your morning jog tomorrow.”
Damon rubbed his nose. “That’s not a beer belly. It’s the mark of happiness.”

Natalie loved hearing her parents banter. “Mom, I smell the baked salmon,” she suddenly exclaimed, inhaling deeply as a wave of delicious aroma washed over her.
Kate chuckled. “You have the best nose in the family. I made all your favorite dishes today.” Natalie rushed over to kiss Kate. “Mom, I love you so much. I must have accumulated a lot of good karma in my past life to be your daughter. I’m so lucky. I’m so blessed to be your daughter forever.”
“Sweet talker. Now wash your hands and come to eat,” Kate replied.
“Okay.”
The three gathered around the table, where eight dishes and a soup, all of Kate’s specialties, were laid out.
Natalie’s mouth watered as she eagerly filled her bowl with the steaming soup. She dug in, taking bite after bite, unable to stop.
Damon and Kate exchanged glances, feeling a mix of worry and affection for Natalie. Natalie wouldn’t have to work so hard if she was still married to Jeremy
They couldn’t help but notice how much weight she had lost after being away for three months. Just then, there was a sudden knock at the door.
“I’ll get it,” Damon said, rising from his seat.
He opened the door, but the sight of the person standing outside left him momentarily speechless. “Jeremy…”
