Chapter 134
Chapter 134
Coralie Chariott packed her stuff and took the contract. As she was heading out of the door, Valerie
Rae blocked her way, "Don't you want to see Skylar?"
Valerie looked at the contract in Coralie's hand when she spoke.
She had discovered the contract after emptying the drawers and going through Coralie's belongings.
Although it was just a copy of the original contract, when she saw that the contract was supposed to
end tomorrow, she thought that it was all meant to be.
A year later, Coralie was finally going to give up her place.
Coralie lowered her head and looked at Valerie, who was leaning against the wall, "Well, I have to see
him. After all, we have a marriage certificate. We need to get divorced at the Civil Affairs Bureau."
When she saw the pair of legs under Valerie's long dress, it was obvious that one of them was a
prosthetic.
Although she felt guilty, she still looked at Valerie's face and asked her, "Is it really an accident?"
"What?"
Valerie did not expect Coralie to ask this question.
"Was it really an accident?"
Coralie asked straightforwardly. She wanted to know the truth.
In the end, Valerie lost a leg, and Coralie was shunned by the Holland family. Since things had turned
out this way, it was better to break it off as soon as possible.
Furthermore, even Skylar had already asked her to leave.
In that case, she should just abide and go along with his wish.
"That car accident?"
Valerie did not expect Coralie to doubt her. She glimpsed at the mobile phone in Coralie's hand,
uncertain if she was recording the conversation.
"Yes."
"Do you think that I would be foolish enough to break my own leg?"
Valerie asked.
In fact, there was a hiccup in the plan. Valerie's original plan was to push Coralie off the mountain and
she herself should suffer some minor injuries in order to waive any suspicion off. However, she lost her
leg in the end because she didn't expect that the driver would lose control of the angle and she wasn't
quick enough to dodge.
However, her following play could be considered as a blessing in disguise.
After all, Coralie had already posed a great threat to her. If she did not sacrifice even a little, how could
she keep Skylar by her side and drive Coralie away?
"Are you really sick then? Would you really hurt yourself when Skylar is not around you? If so, why are
you fine now?"
Coralie persisted in getting the truth.
"I got a little better after getting the treatment, but my condition still isn't very stable. If I were to see
Skylar with another woman..."
Valerie's eyes were full of provocation.
It was obvious that she was not talking about her illness but rather, declaring war against Coralie.
"OK, I'll leave then."
Coralie felt that it would be pointless to ask any more questions. Moreover, Skylar refused to believe
that there was nothing between her and Franklin Moore that night.
With her clothes and contract secured in her hands, Coralie was about to make her way downstairs.
However, before she could even do so, she saw the servant carrying a few bags of clothes into the
master bedroom. Suddenly, a pair of sexy lingerie slipped out of the bag. The servant picked it up
quickly.
Valerie happened to see it behind her and hinted, "Oh, why did that have to fall out? Miss Chariott,
please don't misunderstand. My mother packed them for me."
This could not be more obvious.
Coralie wasn't in the mood to speak anymore, so she took her things and went out.
As she walked to the community gate, her heart was weighed down with her every step.
She felt indignant, and she wasn't willing to give up, but what could she do with just those emotions?
As soon as Coralie walked to the gate, a gem blue sports car roared from the distance. It showed no
signs of slowing down even when it was about to drive past her.
Coralie knew that it was Skylar's car, but she just stood there and watched as the car rushed toward
her.
Skylar only stepped on the brakes when the car was a few meters away from her.
Skylar got off the car and saw Coralie with a bag of clothes and a stack of documents in her hand. He
asked her, "Where are you going?"
His expression was terrifyingly cold as though the question was directed at a stranger.
Coralie withdrew her gaze and put away her indignance and sadness. She raised her head again after
adjusting her mood, "President Holland, our contract ends tomorrow. I'm moving my things to give Miss
Raethe the space that she needs."
Her expression was filled with indifference and apathy.

"President Holland, Miss Rae wishes to live in the master bedroom. Are you telling me to stay in the
guest bedroom?"
"Are you trying to divorce me without my permission? Are you trying to leave?"
Skylar walked over and pushed Coralie in front of the car. He looked at her with his eyes boiling in
anger.
"Shouldn't I get out from your sight?" Coralie raised her eyebrows and looked at him, "President
Holland, you really are forgetful. Wasn't it you who had asked me to leave?"
If she were to stay, should she feast her eyes on the intimacy between Skylar and Valerie?
Not in a million years!
"You are not allowed to leave."
Skylar grabbed Coralie's arm tightly as he dragged her into the car.
"Let me go! Skylar, who are you to stop me?" Coralie struggled and scolded, "What's wrong now? It
was you who asked me to get out a few days ago. Now that I'm leaving, you barge in and command
me not to! You brought another woman home! Do you really expect me to stay shamelessly?"
Coralie was shouting on top of her lungs at the gate of the community. The people who were around
them stopped and watched the free show.
However, this was exactly the effect that Coralie wanted. She wanted to leave. There was no way that
she would sit back and relax in the guest bedroom while Valerie and Skylar were sleeping in the master
bedroom!
"I brought a woman home?" Skylar stuffed Coralie into the car mercilessly and forced the seat belt on
her. He held her arm with both his hands and caged her body with his legs, rendering her motionless.
Then he voiced, "I brought her home because she is sick. You know that."
"Yes, she's sick, but I'm sick too," Coralie looked at Skylar, "I have a disease too. My disease is that
everything Valerie does looks fake to me."
She felt that Valerie was such a cunning and a fake woman.
"Coralie, you are so unreasonable. Tell me what you're going to do then?" Skylar pressed his body
against Coralie, looked at her, and asked, "Do you want to leave me as soon as possible and throw
yourself at Franklin?"
Franklin again!
In the end, Skylar had never believed in her.
"Am I being unreasonable? Alright, fine. As you have said, I'm going to throw myself at Franklin. Since
our contract is expiring, please bless us with your generous acceptance," After Coralie finished
speaking, she pushed Skylar away with her hand.
However, she couldn't bring herself to look at him.
Her words infuriated Skylar. He pulled Coralie out of the car, threw the keys to the security guard
beside him, and instructed, "Park it for me."
Then, he pulled her and walked toward the villa.
"What are you doing! Let me go!"
Her wrist was hurting badly because Skylar was dragging her.
Skylar turned his head, his eyes exuding a terrifying aura, "Coralie, our contract ends tomorrow.
Tonight, you are still mine."
