Chapter 460

Chapter 460

"Yes, that's right."

Xenia immediately nodded.

It was a known fact that if Amelia was proven to be mentally ill, then even if the accident was her

intention, she would not have to be responsible for it.

"Then, I'll go back and discuss this with her family."

Sawyer knew that there would not be an agreement that day, thus he could only take back the

document and left.

As soon as Sawyer left, Xenia immediately moved close to Harvey and whispered gently into his ear, Content is property © NôvelDrama.Org.

"Hubby."

"Yes?"

Harvey replied naturally.

When she heard Harvey's reply, Xenia's heart was filled with joy. "I'll call you hubby from now on, is that

alright? Because Harvey Felton has two words, while hubby is just one word. It saves me a lot of

effort."

She felt that since it had been recognized that they were husband and wife, it seemed strange to call

him by his name, so she changed to calling him "hubby". However, she found that calling him "hubby"

was such a joyful thing, hence she just gave an excuse for it.

"I'm okay with whatever makes you happy."

Of course Harvey was okay with Xenia calling him "hubby". They had only been in a normal

relationship in the past, so she naturally did not make this request back then.

Now that Xenia had said it, he had no objections at all.

After being rejected by Xenia, Sawyer returned to the Rae family to meet Hector.

"What's wrong?"

Hector knew things did not go smoothly when he saw Sawyer was still holding the envelope. Usually,

they would have kept the documents to read the agreement upon signing it.

"President Rae, Harvey's wife doesn't agree with the compensation, and she was certain that Mrs. Rae

wanted to hit her, so she has requested a meetup."

Sawyer immediately conveyed Xenia's requisition to Hector.

"Harvey's wife? He's not married, is he?"

The upper class of A City was actually a small circle. Even if they didn't have detailed information, they

would at the very least know if one got married.

"I'm not too sure about that, but Mrs. Felton claimed to be Augustine Lowell's granddaughter."

"Augustine's granddaughter? Xenia Lowell?"

This reminded Hector about Xenia. She and Valerie used to be classmates. He once took this

opportunity to approach Augustine and later on, both of them had cooperated on some businesses.

"The accident had caused a rupture in Mr. Felton's liver, and it was his wife who had donated her liver

lobe to him. Hence, she said that if she didn't get to meet Mrs. Rae, she would request an extremely

high amount of compensation."

"Didn't you mention that Amelia is mentally unstable because of this incident?"

Hector was quickly angered when he heard this.

The scale of the Felton and Rae Families were similar, but the Lowell Family was on a different level.

Initially, he had thought it was not a big deal, but he did not expect that this would involve the Lowell

Family too.

"They said if that's the case, then it would be best for Mrs. Rae to have a checkup in their hospital."

Sawyer basically told him everything that had happened in the hospital earlier on.

Hector was extremely irritated by this. Everyone in the circle knew that Augustine loved his

granddaughter very much, to the extent of spoiling her. There were several families who had wanted to

marry into the Lowell Group, but in the end Augustine did not agree to any of them.

"Well, didn't Xenia want to meet Amelia? Bring her to Amelia's hospital then, but remember to keep an

eye on her. Don't let her bring any recorder along with her."

Hector had made up his mind.

Since he had been able to give up on his daughter, it was not a big deal to give up on his wife too.

Hector had always thought that Amelia was not loyal to him. The two of them had been planning to get

a divorce. The only reason he had made any effort on this matter was entirely because of Harvey

Felton. He did not want to ruin the relationship between him and the Felton Group.

"Alright."

Sawyer had been working with Hector for so long, so he understood what Hector was trying to say

instantly.

He then passed on the message to Xenia.

Initially, Xenia had wanted to see Amelia on her own. However, Harvey did not agree to that. Amelia

postponed their meeting for a whole month. They finally went to Amelia's hospital when Harvey was

almost recovered and was able to leave the hospital.

This hospital was located in a relatively deserted area. Xenia was the one driving, and it took three to

four hours to get there.

It was winter. Upon arriving at the hospital, Xenia and Harvey got out of the car and looked around. The

surroundings gave off a creepy vibe.

There were two buildings positioned side by side and it was deadly quiet. Right in front of them there

was an empty space with some leisure facilities. There was a patient wearing a very thin patient's

gown, playing on the swing.

The man had been grinning ever since Xenia and Harvey had gotten out of the car which looked very

scary.

Sawyer saw them and quickly came over. "Mr. Felton, Mrs. Felton, Ms. Amelia is in the building over

there."

He pointed to a building located some distance away.

Xenia followed the direction that Sawyer's finger was pointing to and saw that the door of that building

had been sealed off with an iron fence.

"Why is there an iron fence?"

Xenia compared the two buildings on the left and right. There was only a layer of thick curtains at the

entrance of the other building and there was no iron fence there either.

"It's because the patients staying in that building are more dangerous."

Sawyer was actually waiting for Xenia to ask him this question, so he could tell her the situation.

"Oh." After listening to his words, Xenia's expression was surprisingly calm. "That means the patients

there are under strict control, right? Then, I'm relieved."

"That's good."

Sawyer did not expect that Xenia would think in a different way.

When the three of them arrived at the gate of the building, Sawyer knocked on the iron fence twice and

a doctor opened the door for them.

Sawyer gave the doctor the message with a look and the doctor immediately stopped Xenia and

Harvey who were going inside. He commanded, "Please hand over your mobile phones."

"Why?"

Xenia was a little unhappy to do so. Although she didn't intend to do anything, she didn't want to be

guarded.

"This is our hospital's regulation. If you want to enter, you have to hand in all your communication

devices before going in."

The doctor replied.

Sawyer voluntarily put his mobile phone on the table and then advised Xenia, "Just hand it in. I've

come here a few times, and every time, I would have to hand it over."

"Just hand it over."

Harvey knew that if they didn't hand it over, they would not be able to enter. Thus, he decided to put his

phone on the table.

Although Xenia was reluctant, she handed hers over as well.

After that, the doctor led them all the way inside.

Xenia had been standing by Harvey. The doors of each ward were locked, and there was a small glass

window in each ward. As they walked past, many patients looked at them with their heads pressed

against the glass.

Their eyes looked empty. Some were smirking, and some were shouting. There was no doubt that they

were all mentally ill people.

On the way, Xenia felt more and more nervous and she asked, "Is Amelia the same?"

"Her condition is unstable."

The doctor spoke first.

"Oh, I see..."

They walked with the doctor down the long corridor and went up two floors, all the way to the third floor.

As soon as Xenia came up, she found that the wards on the third floor were relatively larger, indicating

that the number of wards on this floor were fewer. They were evidently meant for richer patients.

The doctor led them to a ward at a corner on the third floor and stated, "It's here."

"Here?"

It was quiet inside, and there wasn't anyone who pressed their face against the glass to look out.

Hence, she tip-toed to the ward and looked into the ward through the glass window.

There was only one bed inside. Amelia, who was wearing a patient's gown, was sitting there silently,

with her back facing them. Her condition seemed completely different from the other patients.
