Your Guise Is Slipping, Miss Pearl

Chapter 1248

Chapter 1248

"Boyfriend?"

Evelyn couldn't believe it. She thought Rosalie didn't want to date anyone because she was too busy with work and didn't feel good enough for anyone. Rosalie had these doubts because she felt the loss of her family deeply, and it was something that couldn't be fixed easily.

"Huh? Don't listen to him. He's not my boyfriend!" Rosalie then glared at Blake. "Stop it. There's nothing between us!'

Blake shrugged. "We're already living together. How is that not dating?"

Evelyn's eyes widened. "What? You're already living together?"

Rosalie didn't know what to say for a second. She just kept staring at Blake, who seemed very pleased with himself, and then she pinched him hard on the arm.

Blake winced. "Ouch! What was that for?"NôvelDrama.Org: text © owner.

"Just to teach you a lesson,' she said.

Blake didn't seem bothered. He pointed at Evelyn and said, 'See, your aunt looks happy to see you all grown up.'

Rosalie glanced over and was surprised to see her aunt looking so happy. 'It's not what you think..." she started to say, but then she felt her cheeks get warm.

Evelyn joked, "It's okay. It's normal for couples to flirt."

Rosalie didn't want to explain anymore after that. She didn't care what her aunt thought anymore.

Evelyn, though, hadn't forgotten the main issue. Seeing them still at the door, she got annoyed. 'Why are you still here? I told you my illness isn't a joke. Don't stay here and risk getting sick."

"We're here to look after you. Look, we even brought our luggage.' Blake hurriedly brought the luggage inside and closed the door behind him.

At this point, Evelyn had no choice but to put on a mask and let them in. 'If you're going to stay, then stay. But I don't need looking after, just don't be a bother."

Standing at the bedroom door, Evelyn gave one more piece of advice. "If you start feeling sick, tell me right away, okay?" After saying this, she coughed a few times and turned away

"Wait, Aunt Evelyn. Am I going to share a room with him?" Rosalie felt helpless as she explained, "We're really not what you think-"

"I get you might feel shy, but the guest room is full of stuff and can't be used right now."

Blake smoothly brought their luggage in and thanked Evelyn. "Thank you, Evelyn. We can share, no problem." "Who said I'm sharing a room with you?' Rosalie was about to argue, but Blake stopped her.

"Alright, let's not make this a big deal. Your aunt is not well, let's not add to her stress," he whispered in her ear, making them look like a lovely couple

Evelyn was convinced they were a couple, just that Rosalie was too shy to admit it.

That evening, Rosalie made dinner, but her aunt, worried about making them sick, stayed in her room and didn't join them.
