Chapter 1877
Chapter 1877
Freya waved goodbye to Moses before following Caprice up the stairs.
Moses waited until they were out of sight before returning to his car and driving away.
Meanwhile, Liam’s car was camped underneath the shade of some trees. He was stalking them from the dark. He peered intently through the window in the direction of Caprice’s dormitory.
After ensuring that Caprice had returned home safely. He turned to his driver, “Let’s go.”
“Caprice, what's wrong?”
Always attentive, Freya noticed that Caprice was in a sullen mood and checked up on her. Caprice made a look, “I’m fine, just a little tired.”
“Why did you reject Moses’ invitation just now?” Freya smiled playfully, “You know, | think he’s interested in you, don’t you feel like going out with him?”
Moses was interested in her? It was the first Caprice had ever heard of anything like that. She shook her head. All of her friends should know by now that she had feelings for Liam.
She never paid much attention to any other men.
Freya expressed with a sigh, “Right.”
Moses was Mr. Popular in university and it looked like he was going to carry over his success into his adulthood. He had found his company and was slowly expanding his business, there were not many guys out there that could compare to Moses. Then again, there were outliers like Liam who was on a completely different level that made Moses seem wholly unimpressive in contrast.
Freya figured that if she was Caprice, she would have eyes for nobody but Liam as well.
Something else suddenly came to her. She asked cautiously, “By the way, Liam fired Heather, didn’t he? Does that mean they broke up?”NôvelDrama.Org: text © owner.
This struck a nerve in Caprice. She answered grumpily, “No, they’re still together.” Freya held her tongue. The weekend passed quickly.
Freya had resumed her shift at her job. Meanwhile, Caprice had been lazing around at the dormitory, scrolling on her phone or sleeping until the weekend passed her by.
Upon seeing how she was wasting away, Freya dragged her out of the house come Monday. She made Caprice follow her to the dessert cafe where she was working part-time. Then, she made her change into a cute costume and had her pose by the shopfront window.
Caprice was going to let her mind wander and let time pass her by. Shortly after she sat down, many passers-by began to flock outside the shop. They took pictures of her while musing, “Oh my god, it’s Lady Leisha!”
“So pretty!”
The dessert cafe was a very famous spot amongst the young people in Westchester. Lady Leisha was a fictional character that served as an icon for the cafe on social media.
Freya had dressed Caprice as Lady Leisha. Before long, the once—quiet cafe was filled with people.
Many people wanted to take pictures with Caprice, “Hi, do you mind if | took a picture with you?”
Caprice was too polite to refuse, “Sure.”
After getting a picture with her, they would head to the

Even Freya, the deputy store manager had to head to the kitchen to help out due to the intense demand. It was only until the evening when Caprice changed out of the costume that people stopped pouring in. Freya was exhausted. The moment they got back to the dormitory, she threw herself on the bed. Caprice was nowhere near as tired since all she had to do all day was just pose for pictures.
As usual, she lay in bed and scrolled Liam’s profile on her phone to see if he made any new posts today. It was then that she noticed a transaction from Freya.
She received a deposit of two hundred dollars from Freya.
