AMIRA’S POV
I heard him growl from behind me, more of a snarl than anything else. His eyes blazed with anger, and a wave of dread washed over me. As he continued to glare at me, he moved closer, approaching me as if I were his prey, and he, the predator.
His gaze darkened further, growing even more intense. Was it anger? Fury? I couldn’t tell, but it unsettled me. What had I done to provoke him? Why was he walking toward me with that stupid smile on his face, yet his eyes screamed of violence?
These were the thoughts racing through my mind.
This wasn’t the first time I had caught him leering at me. He and the others had made me do humiliating things just for their amusement. But this time, I couldn’t bear it.
I stepped back three paces, my body instinctively pulling away as Alpha Christian’s Gamma, Adrian, approached with a sneering grin. If shivers had a physical form, I could feel them crawling up and down my spine.
“If you come any closer, I’ll scream,” I said, my voice shaky, unsure if I could even get the words out. My throat tightened, gripped by a fear that refused to release its hold on me.
“Nobody wants a cursed Omega, Amira,” he sneered. “I can do whatever I want to you, and this time, no one is here to help. You can scream all you want…” His voice dripped with arrogance, a smug grin plastered across his face.
“Help! Help! Help me! Someone, it’s Amira!”
He laughed cruelly, raising his voice in mockery, trying to prove his point that I was beyond help.
I glanced around desperately, searching for anything that could save me, but the room was empty. They had asked me to clean here, and now I was trapped. This was a plan everyone knew about, except for Alpha Christian.

Adrian lunged at me, his hands reaching for me, but I ducked quickly and sprinted to the other side of the room, near the door. I grabbed the doorknob and pulled it with all my might, but it didn’t budge.
